If you print it on a heavier cardstock paper you can use markers and even watercolor paint on it.
I like to color the background a light blue because of the sky theme in the top right, then do letters a medium dark blue. The There are a lot of ways you can color the borders, I like the frame bars to be a bright color. The hearts can be pink or red. The flowers can be a lot of different colors. It looks nice when you color the background areas around the vines.
