THE VERSE
Here is a printable coloring page that is a vivid image of the devil prowling like a lion on the hunt. This verse teaches us to be diligent in our lives and not become slack about letting sin enter. 

1 Peter 5:8 says,

"Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." 1 Peter 5:8.

I draw these coloring pages because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

Both kids and adults enjoy coloring the verse. Coloring the letters in the words helps you to remember the verse. When it is complete, the page serves as a reminder of God's Word.

There are many ways it can be colored. Your imagination can go wild with the decorations around the border.  I suggest using a dark color for the lettering and a faint color for the background. 
The letters are small, and it would be good to use a fine-tipped marker or coloring pencils. 
The flowers offer a lot of places for pink or red, and the vines can be green. 
Try a different color for the frame border.
