THE VERSE
In my weekly activity children's bulletin, I have 10 different verses every week. In order to keep the material fresh, I have to spend hours searching for scriptures that are not repeated in the same manner in the printable. When I came across this verse it seemed like a good message for today's youth. A message about humility and trust in God.
1 Peter 5:6-7 says, "So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." 1 Peter 5:6-7 NLT.
The teaching of these verses covers several areas of the Christian life that we need today. First, we need to be humble, this is like a lost virtue in today's world, especially in youth. This scripture tells us to trust God. It tells us to wait on His timing. It assures us that He will lift us up. These are all ideas that we need to teach today's children.

HOW YOU CAN USE THIS
You can combine this puzzle with other printables from this blog to make a bulletin or activity handout. You can add it to a bulletin or program for fun and interest. To save paper you can use the "Cut and Paste" to duplicate the puzzle on both sides and then print two at a time for your kids. you can use it as an extra time activity for your class, club, or camp.
