THE VERSE

It is a promise that we will find God when we search for him with all of our hearts. God would not make a promise like this if finding Him was not possible. When you search for something with all of your heart, it sounds like you are looking for it desperately and intensely. It reminds us not to give up in our search for God. 

Jeremiah 29:13 says, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13.

THE ART

Part of the coloring page is recycled. The background drawing on a peak was recently used to illustrate this verse in a BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY issue. I added the border, which took several hours to design, draw and trace. I think it turned out nicely.

COLOR THIS PICTURE

If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, this can look beautiful.  You might try using pale background colors and more brilliant colors for the border and text.  There are a lot of flowers, ribbons, and leaves to color in. Think about using something besides black for the text, like dark blue or brown. Don't overlook the background around the border art; it can be a contrasting color. I hope you create a beautiful masterpiece!
