COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of ways this can be colored. If you print it on cardstock, it can take wetter mediums like watercolor or markers. I like to color the background a soft blue and the lettering a dark, dramatic color like blue, brown, lavender, or purple. The border frames can be a completely different color that can contrast. Do not do the lettering the same color as the eagles.

Children like to color the picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in.
