This verse teaches us that love is not an occasional thing but a way of life. It tells us to love as Christ loved, who sacrificed himself for us. We should be willing, in the same way, to sacrifice everything.

It helps you memorize scripture when you color the letters, and once it is done, it is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching. 

There are many ways it can be colored.
  • I suggest using a dark color for the lettering and a faint color for the background.
  • The letters are small, and it would be good to use a fine-tipped marker or coloring pencils.
  • The hearts offer a lot of places for pink or red, and the vines can be green.
  • Try a different color for the frame border.
  • The cross can be brown with a lot of color in the surrounding scene.
