THE VERSE

This is a beautiful and straightforward Scripture, Many people consider it a promise, and others say it is much more than a promise. The verse has the force of a command. At the very least, it is a teaching and a reminder that the Lord is our source of joy and delight, not things of this world. This is a very liberating thing.

Psalm 100:5 says,
The Lord is good! His love and faithfulness will last forever. Psalm 100:5. CEV©.

I chose the CEV translation because the coloring picture is intended for children, and I wanted to avoid long, complicated "churchy" words.

MY ART.

I drew the original art for the weekly Bible kids magazine I make for church. I had to trace the flowers several times over the letters. I used the computer to create the font for the letters. It all took a few hours, and I am glad how it turned out. I hope you like it.

The image below is a JPEG and should work on most computers and printers, but if you have trouble printing it out, CLICK HERE  to visit my how-to-print page for some suggestions. I have created an updated image in PDF, and you can find it below.

COLOR THE PICTURE

You can have a lot of fun coloring this picture. Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)
The flowers can be of different colors.
Try to use more than one hue of green on the leaves.
Remember, the background can be colored in too. I suggest something pale.
The letters are the vital part. I suggest that you try blue, violet, purple or something.

There is a  heart in the background; you can color it pink or red.

I hope you make a masterpiece!

Blessings and Thank You.
