"These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold--though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world." 1 Peter 1:7.

ABOUT MY ART
I created the border by tracing several other designs and combining them together. There are examples of illuminated pages with different designs on each of the four sides, and I wanted to try something like that. I printed the text and traced around the letters to give an area to color.

There are lots of ways you can color this.
COLOR THE PICTURE
Children like to color the picture with crayons but use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, to get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in.
