I used several different techniques to create this coloring page. It took all afternoon. I hope you like it.

This is a verse where the worshipper makes a declaration that he will praise worship and gives thanks to the Lord. It is the beginning of worship to resolve to give thanks. The verse reminded us it is not just enough to be a thankful person but to be thankful unto the Lord. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many fun ways to color this picture to make it beautiful. Many different flowers can be in different colors. Some vines and leaves twisting back and forth can be various greens. The frame bar can be a contrasting color, and the background can be a pale hue to bring out the different colors. 

I hope it turns out beautifully!

I draw these coloring pages because I love God's word, and I hope they are a blessing to you. 

I spent several hours designing and creating this coloring page for you. I hope you like it.

This verse declares a person's resolve and commitment to publicly or boldly praise God. It says the psalmist will praise God is in the great assembly and among the throngs. This is not someone quietly saying a little prayer, but someone willing to shout God's praise in a public, bold way. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many ways to color this picture to make it beautiful. 

There are a lot of flowers around the border to color in. 

There are frame bars that can be a complementary hue.  

The letters are opened and colored in. 

The background can be a pale color that will offset the other colors. 

There are two images of people worshipping God with thanksgiving in the corners that can be colored.

Free Psalm 9:1 I Will Give Thanks, Bible Verse Coloring Page

This is a free print-and-color page for Psalm 9:1, a Thanksgiving verse. 

This verse is a heartfelt declaration of Thanksgiving. In it, the psalmist declares that he will tell of all God has done. He describes the deeds of the Lord as being beautiful deeds. He says that he is resolved and committed to telling others about the wonderful deeds of the Lord. Telling the wonders of God's acts cannot happen without giving thanks simultaneously, as if in the same breath. This verse tells us that Thanksgiving should be given to God with our whole heart.

I use a light box, which helps me trace the art a few times to get it how I want it. It can take a few hours to a whole day to make a coloring page.

This is one of my favorite Bible verses about Thanksgiving. It says plainly, "I will give thanks." It is a declaration and a commitment to gratitude. It is a statement and a verse of worship. It is not just thanking God for his gifts, but because of who he is. Then, it becomes more than Thanksgiving, entering the sanctuary of holy worship. This verse tells us that Thanksgiving is a sacred duty and an act of worship. 

This verse is especially appropriate for Thanksgiving.

This is a favorite scripture and is popular in children's programs, where it is used to teach children to have a spirit of thankfulness. Of course, that is a lifelong lesson, and we all need to learn it. This verse is used in the Awana club Sparky lessons. It is a great verse to memorize.

MY ART

I tried to use a font from the computer, but it just didn't look like it would be fun to color so I use a lightbox and a fine-tipped marker to trace around the letters and created my own font for this picture so it would be an appropriate style but still have room to color in it took about two hours just to do the letters. I borrowed the praying hands from another coloring picture I drew and used cut and paste to insert them.  It is hard to draw so many coloring pages, so I have to recycle some bits and pieces.

This works best with fine-tipped markers or pencils, like my favorite, Prismacolor, then you can get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and coupons are usually available online. 

In the corners are two praying hands at the bottom. 

The border has flowers and frame bars to color. 

The letters can be filled in. 

The backgrounds can be colored too in some light hue.

ABOUT MY ART. 

I would like to draw these Bible verse printables because I love God's word, and I hope that you are blessed by them. 

The letters of the verse can be colored in; they are drawn small and tight. This was not on purpose; it was just hard to work out. This is the perfect practice for fine finger dexterity.

The scene provides many opportunities for creativity. The sky can be blue, but I suggest the kids add clouds to it.

The foreground can be bright green for the grass.

The treeline can be darker greens.

The mountains can be purple or violet, grey and brown, which will contrast against the greens of the trees and break up the sky's cool and the trees' cool.
