This is a free printable coloring page with Isaiah 53:5, "We love because he first loved us." Bible verse.
This print and color page features a popular gospel verse about the suffering of the Messiah.
It helps you to memorize the scripture when you color in the letters to the words of the verse.
Isaiah 53:5 says,
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed." Isaiah 53:5.

MY ORIGINAL ART
This was a difficult picture to draw since I was trying to combine several different styles. I had to use a lightbox and a fine-tipped marker to trace things several times, and finally, I scanned it all into the computer, cleaned things up there, and added the straight lines.
If you have problems printing, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print page for some helpful suggestions or try the updated link below that should print better.
If you print on heavy cardstock paper, you may find that you can use watercolor paint or pens and inks.

Below is a link that has been modified to print better on some printers.
There are a lot of things you can do to make this a beautiful picture. The border has a lot of vines and paisley shapes to color in. There is a landscape in the corner with three crosses. The letters to the words are open enough for you to fill in.
Children like to color the picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in.
