I am delighted to share with you this free print and color page for Lent devotions, day 11, with Luke 18:16-17. 

Here is a printable coloring page perfect for children and adults who want a creative way to contemplate their faith during Lent, but this coloring page can be used on occasions besides the Lenten season.

It helps to memorize the scripture when you color in words to the verse. There is a lot to color as you meditate on God's word.

Luke 18:16-17 says,

"But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. "Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all."  Luke 18:16-17.

This verse is a favorite verse known as the great commission; it challenges you to consider where you need to share your faith.

HOW TO PRINT

• With some printers, you can just highlight it and send it to your printer.

COLOR THE PICTURE

I like to color the background a light blue and leave the dove white. There are a lot of opportunities to be creative with the flowers and the borders. There are many places where you can add a splash of color, like the image at the bottom and the frame bars. I know you will have a wonderful time with it.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

I hope you enjoy coloring this picture as much as I enjoyed drawing it.

Sometimes it takes me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I draw them because I love God's Word and hope they are a blessing to you. 

The artwork took a lot of time for me to do. I drew the hands five or six times before I was happy with the design, then I traced it over to finish it on the picture. I had to trace the letters several times to get them right. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

The letters can be colored in with colored pencils or fine-tipped markers. The hands can be colored with almost any medium.

There are a lot of colors you can use in this picture.
     * The background can be blue.
     * The grass can be green.
     * The mushrooms can be any color orange, tan, white, beige, or yellow.
     * The spots can be red or purple or blue.
     * The underside of the caps should be darker.
     * The ladybug should be bright red with black spots.
     *  The fairy is wearing a dress made out of flowers and leaves.
     * The leaves are the blouse and the flowers are the skirt.
     * Her hat is a flower turned upside down you can color the flowers any color.
     * You can have a lot of fun with her wings, they can be any color but I like red and purple with white dots.
     * The tulips can be pink or purple or red. The sunflowers could be yellow.
     *  The ground and rocks can be brown and gray mixed together with other colors.

It will be a bright and beautiful picture.

Butterfly Coloring Page to Print and Color

Here is a free print and color page for a butterfly

Parents and teachers may find this helps when they need to give the kids something to do, it can be used at home or in class. Perfect for a lesson on spring or insects.

Parents and teachers can use it after school, camp, or a bug theme party. It can be a project that will fill out extra time in class or something you can print and send home.

This is the monarch butterfly.

• It is colored black and red or black and orange.
• The little dots around the edges are white.
• The body is black, but it looks fine with a dark blue or purple.
• The edges of the wings are black, but they look fine as dark blue or purple.
• The background looks good as a light blue.
• The flowers can be left white or yellow or any color you like.
• The stems and leaves can be any hue of green you like.
• For fun, you can make the butterfly any color you like

Dolphins Coloring Page Copy and Print

This is a free dolphins print and color page

This is a free printable coloring picture that parents and teachers may give the kids to do in class or at home.

A suggestion for the young artist is to color the water in horizontal lines and leave a few white streaks to give the water a realistic look. The islands can be brown with greens for the jungles. You can put some of the sunset colors in the clouds but keep it very light.

I know you will turn this into a beautiful picture. I hope you enjoy coloring it as much as I enjoyed drawing it.

These three dolphins are fun and easy to color.
     * The waves, islands, and sky with clouds give a lot of areas for young artist to get creative.
     * The sky can be colored dark blue at the top and light blue lower down.
     *  The dolphins can be dark gray with light gray underneath.
     *  The water can be different blues and maybe add a little green.
