ABOUT MY ART

I spend a lot of time creating these coloring pages, and I am glad to do it because I believe in God's word and its power to change lives. I pray they are a blessing to you. I hope you enjoy these pictures and that they are helpful to you.

Both kids and adults enjoy coloring the verse. Coloring the letters of the words helps you remember them. When it is done, the page is a reminder of God's Word. It is a great kids' craft or coloring page for adults to enjoy, too.

The design is simple because there are so many words that I felt if there were a lot of embellishments around the border, it would be too tedious. 

There are a lot of ways this can be colored.

• I like to color the background pale, like parchment, so a soft tan or light beige.
• I avoid black for the lettering and often use blue, or brown, purple, or something interesting. 
• The flowers can be a lot of different colors. 
• The vines can be of different values and hues of green. I enjoy contrasting greens with reds. 
• The border frames can be a completely different color that contrasts.

THE VERSE

Matthew 6:26-27 is part of the Sermon on the mount, "Masdan ninyo ang mga ibon. Hindi sila nagtatanim ni umaani man o kaya'y nagtitipon sa kamalig, ngunit pinapakain sila ng inyong Ama na nasa langit. Hindi ba't higit kayong mahalaga kaysa mga ibon? 27 Sino sa inyo ang makakapagpahaba ng kanyang buhay nang kahit isang oras sa pamamagitan ng kanyang pagkabalisa?" Mateo 6:26-27. MBB

THE ART 

I made a coloring page for this verse in English for one of my children's church bulletins and thought it would be good to use it in some language coloring pages. A few years ago, the bird came from an art lesson, and the border was from another coloring page. I used the computer to create the letters to the verse with cut and paste. It took a long time to get things to look balanced. It was a lot of work, and I am happy with how it turned out. You are welcome to use it in your children's church, Bible club, VBS, Camp, or home. I think the design will be practical for children and adults to get a lot out of it. I hope you like it.

THE ART 

I was making the Bible verse activity bulletin that churches are using, and felt that one of the coloring pictures would appeal to more people, so I decided to do a special printable. The bird was part of an art lesson I taught a few years ago, and the border was from another coloring page. For the letters, I used the computer to create with cut and paste. It took a long time to get things to look balanced. It was a lot of work, and I am happy with how it turned out. You are welcome to use it in your children's church, Bible club, VBS, Camp, or home. MY ART

I worked on this picture for a long time. I reused some parts of another coloring page and made some changes to keep it fresh. Even though I was upgrading the art, it still took a long time to mix the new with the old art.  I couldn't do the letters, so I used the computer to create them and scan them into the picture.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are lots of ways you can make this into a beautiful picture.  If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you can get into the tight areas and the letters. The border has lots of hearts and leaves and flowers to color. Try to use more than one color for the hearts, make some red, some pink, and make some scarlet. Use different green colors for the leaves and make some light green and other dark green. There is a cross scene at the bottom to color in. The letters can be colored. The background can be a light hue for contrast with the bright colors.  The frame bars can be a contrasting color.

THE ART

It took me days to draw this picture. It was part of another project. I did a lot of tracing and sketching of the parts repeatedly. Then and after all the details seemed right, I traced it as a whole. After that, I scanned it all into the computer and cleaned it up on the computer. I even made some significant changes using the computer. There were several hours of fiddling and adjusting on the computer. It was a lot of work, but I am happy because I wanted to capture the drama of the disciples. I hope you like it and can use it.

THE VERSE

This verse is a favorite and is one of the things Jesus said in the sermon on the Mount. Being the light of the world is not a choice for the believer. It is a fact. Jesus planned for his followers to be lights in a dark world. It is a challenge to us to be a blessing every day and show the way to those wandering in darkness. We cannot hide the light. Like a city on a hill, it must be seen.

Matthew 5:14 says,

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:14.

THE ART

I spent all evening drawing the background of the hill. I copied part of it from one of the coloring pictures I did for My weekly Bible activity bulletin and then added more and more to the hill, the city, and the clouds. After I scanned it into the computer, I cleaned it up, added more details, and even changed a major element to a road leading up to the city. The lettering was done on the computer. I worked on it until about midnight, but I am glad for all the work because it turned out beautifully. I hope you like it. 

WHY SO MANY LANGUAGE PRINTABLES HERE

I believe in God's Word and that it is living and has the power to change lives. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believe he offers salvation free to all who come to him. Since my blog is seen worldwide, I have added a printable in Spanish and Chinese so the Lord can use this ministry of art for nations. Please pray that as children are exposed to God's word through coloring pages, the Holy Spirit will use the scripture to bring them to the Savior. Thank you.

COLOR THE PICTURE

If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you will be able to get into all the little details. There are many ways that this can be colored and make it look beautiful. The sky can be a sunrise blue with golden rays. The town can be in shadow like purple or the rose color of the morning light. The hill can be grey, brown, sandy, or even red. There are areas I drew for shadows that can be purple or lavender. The shrubs on the hill can be different greens. I hope you have a lot of fun and make a beautiful masterpiece out of it. 

Kids like to color this picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

Free Bible Verse Word Search For Matthew 5:38-42, Turn the Other Cheek Verses

This Matthew 5:38-42-word search is a fun activity and helps teach the Bible.

This word search is a free sample of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY activities, which is an activity booklet I make for kids in church each week and I give it as a gift to those who support my art blog. 

In this activity, children encounter God's Word as they look for the words from the scripture in the puzzle. 

The verse that is the basis of this activity is from the Sermon on The Mount.

The passage says,

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them on the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. I worked on this Christmas coloring picture for two evenings. I had to trace the kings many times before being happy with them. People are difficult for me to draw because I want to tell the story of the verse through their expressions and poses. I still want to have some areas that you can color in. I wanted to have something different from my other coloring pages. I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many ways that you can make this into a beautiful picture. 

• It would be best if you used fine-tipped markers or pencils.
•  Palm tree fonds go up the side borders and can be green. 
• The desert scene at the bottom can be a brown or sandy tan color. 
• The figures can be fun with splashes of color. 
• The background of the script can be a dark blue but not too dark. Consider leaving the letters white or yell if you make it dark blue. 
• If you are using this with kids, think about using sticker stars in the sky. 
• The frame bars can be a contrasting color from the rest and become a lovely accent.

A LITTLE ABOUT MY ART

I worked insanely hard on this picture. My method is to trace something repeatedly until I have it the way I want. I had to trace the figures of each Wise man about 8 times, maybe more. The whole picture took about five hours to create. But for all that, I am delighted with how it turned out, and I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many things you can do to color this picture beautifully. Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils. The sky can be dark, and you can just leave the letters to the words as white. The three kings can be a point for a lot of colors. There is a little landscape to color. It can be a dark night scene, but don't use black; use purple, violet, and lavender to give it a nighttime look. Use dark blue for the sky.  The frame bars can be a contrasting color.  If you are creative, you might try using sticker stars on the different stars in the picture.

I hope you color a masterpiece.

Free Print and Coloring Page for Matthew 10:29-31, "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Bible Verse.

This is a free print and color page for the Bible verse, Matthew 10:29-31

This is a wonderful scripture of comfort. It Teaches us that God, who is all-seeing, knows when even a common sparrow passes away and makes the connection that we are more important than many sparrows so we can know that He is watching over us too.  

Matthew 10:29-30 says,

 Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.  But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not fear you are more valuable than many sparrows.  Matthew 10:29-31.

I am trying a new style for the border on this one because there are so many words in the verse. The border is not all boxed in, but the vines and ribbons are wrapping around the frame. I drew this twice in pencil and then traced it twice. I still felt it needed more, so I scanned it into the computer and finished it in Microsoft paint.  

I created these coloring pages out of love for God's Word.  They are free for you, and I hope you print as many as you can use.

Here is a Bible verse that challenges us to love our enemies. This is from Jesus' words in the Sermon on the Mount.  It tells us to pray for our enemies and for those who do us harm. This verse teaches us to love in that way copies God's love. God is gracious and kind to all people, to those who do good and evil, and we who believe in Him are to be the same.

MY ART

I spent all Saturday designing and drawing this. I drew it using the inspiration from others I drew last year but decided to do something different and created only one frame bar and had the decorations wrapped around the one frame bar like a vine.  At first, it was only vines, but I thought I had had to add flowers and hearts with the subject of love. So I used a lightbox and a fine-tipped marker to trace the picture over, added hearts in the corners, and put flowers around the border. I wanted it to be vibrant, so I had the vines all over the place. I hope you like it.

If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and coupons are usually available online. 

This works best with fine-tipped markers or pencils. 

In the corners are hearts. 

There are flowers and vines all around the border to color.

The letters can be filled in. 

The backgrounds can be colored too in some light hue. 

You can use this coloring page in your children's church program, VBS, ESL class, Sunday school class, or Bible children' club such as Awanas or Good News Club.
