This picture was part of a Bible activity mini-magazine I make weekly. I was rereleasing an old issue and thought it would be a good picture to share. I hope you like it. I had to trace parts of it several times and then as a whole. After I scanned it into the computer, I had to use the computer to create the straight lines.

Philippians 2:10 says. "So that at the name of Jesus, everyone in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will kneel." Philippians 2:10. I used a modern translation since it was intended for the kids, and I didn't want a lot of hard "church words" that they did not understand.

ABOUT MY ART

The art for this came from one of the weekly children's activity mini-magazines I make for the church. It turned out well, so I made it into a coloring page. 

COLOR THE PICTURE 

This picture can be beautiful when you color it.
Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils to get into the more delicate areas. 
My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor pencils because they are brilliant and blend well. You can find them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby stores. You can usually find coupons for good discounts. 
Some flowers can be pink or red; others can be blue and lavender.
Use more than one hue of green for the vines and leaves.
The frame bars can be a contrasting color. 
The background can be something pale. Using tan or light brown will make it look like parchment as if it were an ancient manuscript. 
The letters can be colored in; I like to use something besides black for the words.

Free Philippians 4:4 Print and Color Page, with "Rejoice in the Lord," Bible Verse.

I am delighted to share my free print and color page for Psalm 18:24,  Bible verse.

THE VERSE 

This is a well-known scripture. It is from the writings of the Apostle Paul in his Philippian Epistle. I am always impressed by the understanding that this may have been his last writing before his martyrdom; therefore, reading so many statements about rejoicing is a powerful testimony of the Gospel of hope in his life. It is an inspirational verse and gives us a lot to think about and to be thankful for. 

Philippians 4:4 says, " Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4.

MY COLORING PICTURE ART 

I made this because I was asked to create some coloring pages for a special needs families weekend camp. These coloring pages needed to be simple and easy for younger people who have different physical challenges. You might think the picture is simple, but it took all afternoon to create it.  I hope you like it.

I used Microsoft Word to create the picture below, and it is a JPEG, which should work on most computers and printers.  It was designed for USA letter size paper. MY COLORING PICTURE ART 

I was asked to create some coloring pictures for a special needs retreat, so this is one of them.  It is simple for those white fine finger issues. I started by drawing parts of this by hand using a marker and pencil and an artist lightbox to help me make tracings and to put them all together. But nothing seemed to accommodate the requirements of the request. I ended up designing it with basic draw software.  The words were generated by using the computer. I hope you like it.

I am delighted to share my Philippians 1:6 print and color page in the Spanish language using the Reina-Valera 1995 version. I do not speak Spanish but love to listen to it since it is such a beautiful language. I hope that you may be able to use this coloring picture in your class or church. 

Coloring the letters helps you to remember the verse. When it is done, the page is a reminder of God's Word. It is a great kid's craft or coloring page for adults to enjoy too.

I had to use the computer to create the straight lines after I scanned it in. it was so much work that I used the background border in other coloring pictures.

There are a lot of fun things you can do to color this picture in. I recommend colored pencils or fine-tipped markers. The flowres can be many colors. The vines can be different greens. You can color the letters to the words since they are open. The frame can be a contrasting hue. Remember to color the background.

Free Philippians 2:8, Easter Verse, Print and Color Page

This is a free print and color page of Philippians 2:7b-8. This verse is often found in Easter cards.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

This blog is my way of giving back to the Lord by using the gift of art. I have coloring pages here for you that are Bible verses, so you can use them to help learn and teach God's Word. I have created Bible verse activities for you; including crossword puzzles, word search, and mazes that you can use. For those who support my blog, I create an activity bulletin every week that they can use in Bible clubs, children's church, and outreach. ABOUT THE VERSE
This is a wonderful scripture that tells us much about the obedient and humble character of Christ. It tells us that he was willing to become a servant because it says, He made himself nothing,"  in other words, he was not forced. He took the nature, or heart, of a servant.  His obedience was complete. He obeyed all the way to death on the cross where he became the atoning sacrifice for mankind. That is why this verse is often used in reference to Easter,

Philippians 2:7-8 says rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Philippians 2:7-8

ABOUT THE ART
The border art took three evenings to draw. I traced it several times to get it right and then I had to scan it into the computer and work on it for a couple of hours to clean it up. I hope you like it.

I am glad to share this free print and color page for Philippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord..." Bible verse.


THE VERSE
This is a beautiful and simple Scripture, but because it is simple does not mean it is not deep. The verse has the force of a command. Significantly, Paul wrote these words while in prison.  It is a challenge to us who rejoice in circumstances and things and our own sources of happiness. The verse reminds us that our joy comes from the Lord and not worldly things.

This is my original art and is mostly drawn by hand, although with a lot of tracing. I spent two days drawing the flowers for the background of this picture. I had to trace them twice, and then after I scanned the image into the computer, I had to clean it up using the Paint program. I am glad it turned out so nicely. I hope you like it.

COLOR
There are many ways to color this to make it beautiful. Many flowers can be lots of different colors, or you can just choose a few colors and repeat a pattern of colors repeatedly. The letters can be colored in. You should use some contrasting colors for the letters. The frame can be a different contrasting color. The frame in a picture like this looks best if it is dark. 

I hope you have as much fun coloring this picture as I had in drawing it.

This took a long time to create. I had to trace the flowers and vines several times before they were the way I wanted them to be.  I finished it on the computer, where I added the straight lines. It was a lot of work, and I hope you like it.

I draw these coloring pages because I love God's Word.  I hope they are a blessing to you.

I hope you have fun coloring this verse.  There are flowers and vines to color and try a light background behind the words and contrasting background behind the flowers. Make the letters to the words dark but not black. The frame bars can be a fun thing if you use a bright color.

There are a lot of ways that you can color this. The letters are big enough to fill in. There are flowers around the border. There are frame bars that can be colored in. Do not forget to color the background but not too dark.

Philippians 4:13 Print And Color Page, I can do all things.

Here is a free Philippians 4:13 Print And Coloring page.

This is one of the favorite scriptures for people to memorize. It is a verse of faith in God and expresses how we look to Him to give us the strength and power to overcome obstacles and endure difficulties. It teaches us that we can do all the things we have to do if we rely in faith in Christ. It says that Christ is the source of our strength. 
It helps you memorize the scripture when you color the letters, and when it is done this is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.

I worked on this for hours. I drew some of it by hand and I traced some of it and some of it is computer generated and pasted in. 

Philippians 4:13 says,

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. " Philippians 4:13.

I like to color the background a light blue and the letters a brown. There are a lot of opportunities to be creative with the cross scene at the bottom. The vines and oak leaves give a little room for color. Don't forget to color the background around the left-hand script I would suggest a tan and the letters a bright blue. I know you will have a wonderful time with it.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

This is a verse of scripture that encourages us in our thoughts. It is an excellent verse for all situations. It is not that we just think happy thoughts, but we are to think in a dedicated way. This is a verse of instruction and a scripture of faith. All the things listed in this verse are reflective of who God is. So it puts us in a ready mind for Him to work in us.

MY ART

This picture presented many challenges to me because there were so many words, and I felt the different phrases needed their own place in the picture. I kept the border decoration simple and still made it lively, so you had some fun things to color. It took a lot of effort to get it right, but I am happy with how it turned out. I hope you like it.

Printable Philippians 4:6-7 Illuminated Text Style Coloring Page

This is a free Philippians 4:6-7 Bible verse to print and color.

This printable Bible Verse coloring page is drawn in the fashion of an ancient illuminated text.  So there is a lot of fancy stuff to color. It may not be suitable for little ones, but older kids and adults will enjoy coloring it. If it is printed onto card stock, then the heavy paper will endure a variety of mediums like markers and even light watercolor.

The scripture verse is a favorite of many, many people and one that is memorized by children and adults.

 Philippians 4:6-7 says, 

"Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God, and the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Chirst Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7.  It is slightly paraphrased but a compilation of several translations so it would fit the page and still be readable.

MY ART

I spent days creating and drawing this picture. I used an artist's light box to trace parts of it until I was happy with it. I traced around letters to make them open enough for you to color in. The picture illustrates a woman praying, vines, and oak leaves. A dove is carrying a heart with a cross in the center and breaking a chain (I hope the symbolism is not too vague; I hoped to illustrate the peace of God giving us freedom).
It was a lot of work, and I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of ways to color this and a lot of opportunities for creativity. The letters are best if dark. Try using red in places. Try coloring the background and filling in the frames. Search the internet for images of illuminated text for ideas.

If you take your time, you will want to mount and frame it so it can be admired by all and a reminder of the truth of God's Word. It can be done as a children's church activity, VBS, homeschool, family devotions, or as a quiet activity during church.

Kids like to color this picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)
