Free printable, Ship and Shy Mermaids fantasy Coloring Page

This is a free print and Color page of a sailing ship and two shy mermaids in a fantasy Ocean scene.

This printable coloring page is perfect for children and adults who want to explore a fantasy world where mermaids live. It has a picture of a ship that I drew originally to illustrate a poem in a book of mine. To make a coloring page out of my drawing I added a few points of interest like some finger rocks coming out of the ocean and two shy mermaids looking at the ship.

Try printing it and then tracing it onto watercolor paper to make a painting of this scene.

See the "HOW TO PRINT" tab for help or try one of the updated links below that should print better.

I do not charge you to print my coloring pages I only ask that you make a small contribution to support my art.  CLICK HERE TO DONATE.
Thank you.

Printable Viking and Sea Serpent Coloring Page

This printable coloring page is a lot of fun for kids and adults to color in. There is a Viking defending his ship from a sea serpent that has wrapped itself around the ship.

Parents and teachers will be able to use this at home and in the classroom. It could be part of a lesson about history or myths such as Beowulf.

It can be used as a vacation time activity for in the car or on a plane ride. Or have around for any time they need something to do.

There are lots of ways that a person could color this in. There is a sea of foaming water. The background has fjords and pine trees. The sea serpent could be any combination of colors. The Viking is as authentic as possible.

Printable Knight and Princess, Coloring Page.

This printable coloring page is a fun project and works well with different mediums and approaches. Parents and teachers will be able to use this in class and at home.

It can be used as a vacation time activity for in the car or on a plane ride. Or have around for any time they need something to do.

This started as a lesson on how to draw a knight. There are a lot of pictures of knights standing and fighting but this is different. since the knight is kneeling in devotion. The lesson had only a knight and the student needed to give it background and a story. This became the illustration of that lesson where I created an environment and story subject for the kneeling knight.

If you have problems printing see the "HOW TO PRINT" tab above or try one of the updated links below that should print better.

I create free coloring pages because I hope you are blessed by them. I am glad to do it for you. You are welcome to print as many of my coloring pages as you can use.

There are a lot of ways an artist can be creative with this since there are a lot of spaces to color. Fine-tipped markers or pencils will work fine. If you trace it onto watercolor paper it can be a nice project for paint medium.

I hope you have as much fun coloring this as I had in drawing it.

Printable Warrior Dwarf Coloring Page

This printable warrior dwarf coloring page is a fun fantasy project for people to color.

It is a warrior dwarf-like from some fantasy world. This dwarf is guarding a door, and I don't know why, but that part of the story is for you to determine.

There are many ways this can be used in class or at home. It could be part of a mythology class or have someone write a story about the character after you color it in.  It could be a fun extra-time activity for a homeschooled family.

It can be used as a vacation time activity for in the car or on a plane ride. Or have them around for any time they need something to do.

I had a lot of fun drawing this picture. It took a long time for me because I had to trace things until I got them right. I hope you like it.

The colors might be dull a lot of browns and grays.
Try giving him red hair.
Consider using grey colors on the wood door.
The stone wall can have some pink or salmon color.
His clothes can be brown, and the accents like the boots and belt can be dark brown, almost black.
The ax and helmet should be metal; try using a light sky blue or light gray.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you can get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

This started as a project for another blog where I had to learn how to draw lessons, but this study turned out so well that I thought it would make a nice coloring page for my friends.

I looked at hundreds of pictures of Gypsy women to try to be as accurate as possible yet still be something that kids would like to color.

Robot Walks The Dogs, Printable Coloring Page

This coloring page is perfect for a robot club or a robot party.

I think there are a lot of "bad-bots" on the web, so I try to draw "good bots" that I hope will inspire people. This one is a friendly robot walking the dogs, but one dog wants to visit the hydrant.

I draw these freehand, and sometimes, it takes two or four tries before I am happy with them. I make copies and give them to the kids at church.

If you have trouble printing the image below or are printing on A-4 sized paper, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print page. I have some helpful tips for you there. There is a link below that may print better if you have problems.

An illustration for valentines to print and color
Valentines Day Frog Prince Coloring page

The words say, "Kiss me, I might be your prince!" is a reference to the fairy tale about the enchanted frog who was released from the spell by the kiss of a maiden.

There are a lot of opportunities to color, the frog can be green or any color and the crown could be yellow. The lettering is wide enough to color in.

The art may not be my best but that is the point of the fairy tale.

I hope you have fun coloring it.

Pegasus Print and Color Page

This is a free Pegasus, the flying horse, print and color page.

If you have problems printing see the HOW TO PRINT tab above for some suggestions.

Printable Coloring Picture of Pegasus the winged horse.

Thank you!

The sky should be a deep blue at the top and gradually become a pale blue as it goes down.

The city can be yellow and gold or leave it white like marble, just a little blue, and lavender for shadows.

Clouds can be white, but add a little color (very little), like orange, red, lavender, and yellow.
You can make clouds behind the city into storm clouds with gray, violet, and purple; if you leave the city white like marble, it could look cool.

The mountain can be brown or gray.

There are a few trees for green.

Some people like the horse to be white, but in ancient times, a white horse was very rare, so a tan or light brown would be more realistic.

To make your picture very real, add shadows. Some of the best shadows are made by using the opposite colors.

You can leave streaks in the blue sky for the sun's rays.
