It helps you to memorize the scripture when you color the words to the verse. There is a lot to color as you meditate on God's word.

Mark 2:17 says,

"On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."  Mark 2:17.

A WORD ABOUT PRINTING
For help with printing, CLICK HERE to see the How-to-print page for some suggestions or try the updated link below that should print better.

This Bible verse helps us to understand the reason Christ came.  It tells us that he came with a purpose.  We see in it Christ is for the needy and sinners.  He came to call or invite us to come to him and know Him.  It s a verse of invitation that anyone can answer.

MY ART

I put a lot of work into the design. I traced it over for hours. I wanted it to be exciting. I did a lot of different things to make it look good. The letters to the words were created with the help of the computer, and then after the other artwork was scanned into the computer, I used to cut and paste to put it all together. It is one of my favorite coloring pages. I hope you like it and are blessed by it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

Children like to color the picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)
The letters are big enough to color in.

Blessings, And Thank You.

Lent day 33 Print and Color page With Mark 8:28 Scripture

This is a free Print and Color Page for Lent, Day 33, with Mark 8:29 Scripture.

Here is the question all of us must answer, "Who is Jesus?" This verse is a wonderful challenge to our view of Jesus. Peter got it right.

Mark 8:29 says,

“But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ.”  Mark 8:2

I took a whole evening to design and draw this coloring page for you. I printed the words out and then traced the flowers around them. The straight lines were done after I scanned it into the computer.

For help with printing, visit the "HOW TO PRINT" tab above or try one of the updated links below that should print better.

Free Mark 11:24 Print and Color Page, Whatever You Ask For In Prayer Bible Verse

This is a free printable coloring page of Mark 11:24.

This Bible verse gives us assurance of the promise of answered prayer. It is not the entire doctrine of prayer, but it is one of the truths that we must have faith in to pray correctly. Of course, your faith must be in the right thing, not in the act of prayer but in the person you are praying to, and that He is faithful to keep His promises. It helps you memorize the scripture when you color the letters, and when it is done, this is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.

THE ART
It can take me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I do it because I love God's Blessed Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

COLOR IT
You can color this picture in many ways to make it look nice.
  • The letters can be colored in with colored pencils or fine-tipped markers.
  • It has many ribbons, vines, and flowers around the border that can add color.
  • The praying hands in the bottom corner can be another place where you can be creative.
  • The frame bars can be bright contrasting colors,
  • The background can be a soft hue.
Have fun!

Children and adults like to color these pages since it helps a person memorize the verse, and when it is displayed, it is a reminder of God's Word.

In context, Mark 12:28-31 says,

And one of the scribes came and, having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:31.

MY ART

It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I am glad to create them for you because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

I wanted to have the main verse as the center of the drawing and the context passage somewhere. It took a lot of work to get it to all come together. I traced and copied parts of other coloring pages and then scanned them into the computer where I assembled them and then spent a couple of hours cleaning it up. The words in the context passage were challenging to get in place, but it finally worked out. Because there were so many words, I wanted to keep the art a little simpler but still have a lot for you to color in. I think I hit a nice balance with the vines. I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE
There are many ways to color this picture to make it beautiful. Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)There are vines and flowers and a heart around the border. The letters are open, so you can color them in. You can color the background and the frame bars to give contrast.

Mark 9:35 Print And Color Page for Bible Verse, "If anyone wants to be first..."

This is a free Mark 9:35 printable coloring page.

Here is a favorite verse of scripture that tells us the teaching of Jesus about being a servant. It puts serving others above being served. It says being a servant is more important. We all want to be first, but Jesus makes being last more important.  His words are more powerful when you think about how he lived the truth of his teaching.

COLOR THE PICTURE

I create free coloring pages because I love God's word, and I hope you are blessed by them. I am glad to do it for you. You are welcome to print as many of my coloring pages as you need.

I had a lot of fun drawing the art for this printable. I traced the flowers and hearts over and over until I was happy with them.  I wanted to give the border a lot of interest, so I added some very tiny flowers like those I recently saw in the park. I printed the words out from the computer and then traced the final draft of the art onto the page. After all the tracing, I scanned it into the computer, cleaned things up a bit, and added the straight lines.  It was a lot of work but fun, and I hope you are blessed by it.

This picture has a lot of fun flowers and hearts around the border that can be colored in. The hearts can be red or pink, and the flowers can be any color you need. The border frame bars can be colored brightly, and the background can be a pale contrasting hue. The letters are open, and you have a lot of room to fill them in.

Blessings, and Thank You.

THIS IS MY ORIGINAL ART

I kept the art simple on this one. I wanted the power of the scripture to be without distraction. I printed the words out and then traced using an artist's lightbox, and after designing the decorations for the border, I traced them onto the page with the words I used a fine-tipped marker. After the tracing was done, I scanned it back into the computer and added the straight lines. It was a lot of work and took all evening, but I am happy with how it turned out, and I hope you are blessed by it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

When you color these printables, it helps you memorize the verse, and when displayed, it serves as a reminder of God's Word.

If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, such as my favorite, Prismacolor, then you can get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby and there are usually coupons available online. I like to color the background a light color. I suggest coloring the letters a medium to dark hue. You can get creative with the border. I like to use a hot color for the frame bars around the picture, like red or orange.

THE VERSE
This verse is a classic of comfort and hope. It teaches us that Jesus came with a purpose. It teaches us that His purpose was not to do for himself any great thing but to do the greatest thing he could do for us.  It says he gave his life for us; it wasn't taken, but he was willing to give it and let it happen. This scripture also teaches us the example of living for others and not for ourselves.

Mark 10:45 says, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45.

ABOUT PRINTING

MY ART

I spent a great deal of time creating this picture.  I printed and then traced the letters as outlines, so you will have an area to color.  I had to draw the vines and borders several times before I achieved a look that was interesting and in harmony with everything else. The cross scene at the bottom was very important to me because I wanted to illustrate the sacrifice of Christ. I hope you enjoy my coloring page and find it meaningful.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many areas in which a young artist can express themselves in this picture. The letters can be filled in with any color. The frame bars could be tan or dark brown. The leaves can be green, and the flowers can be pink or red. You can use a different color behind the decoration in the borde,r and even lightly color the background behind the letters.

I draw these Bible verse coloring pages because I love God's Word. I hope you are blessed by them.

This began as a concept sketch for a mural at a church, and I liked it so much I made a coloring page so a larger audience can enjoy it.

The picture has a baby in Jesus' arms, which is different from most pictures of Jesus blessing the children because the children pictured are usually school age. This would be a nice gift if it was colored and framed for a baby shower or as a picture to hang in the nursery.

ABOUT PRINTING
If you have trouble printing the image below or are printing on A-4-sized paper, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print page. I have some helpful tips for you there. There is a link below that may print better if you have problems.

ABOUT MY ART

It can take me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I do it because I love God's Blessed Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

I had a lot of fun drawing this picture. I had to trace the letters to the words onto the image. The three crosses scene took a couple of tries before they looked right. The tiny flowers were an afterthought, but I am glad that they are there, so there is some fun stuff for kids to color.

Some kids find that coloring in the letters helps them understand and memorize the scripture. When it is taken home and displayed, it is an encouragement to the whole house.

COLOR THE PICTURE
There are a lot of opportunities for coloring. The letters are wide enough to fill in. The three crosses on the hill give a lot of areas that can be colored in. The flowers can make it a very colorful picture.

Blessings and. Thank You
