It can be used as a vacation time activity for in the car or on a plane ride. Or have around for any time they need something to do.
It has the scripture in large bubble letters so that they can be colored in. Coloring the words of the verse helps the student memorize the verse. When it is taken home and displayed it is a reminder of the lesson. There is an illustration of a cross and a person below looking up in devotion.
The portion of scripture used is from Titus 3:5a which says, "He saved us not because of righteous things which we have done but by his mercy."
There are a lot of ways the young artist can color this picture in. There are large letters for those who need room and smaller ones that help develop fine motor skills. The scene can be very colorful with the blue sky and clouds, the distant mountains can be blues, lavenders and purples. The near cliff and cross can be browns. The person can be colored a lot of ways.
