This is a free Matthew 6:28-29 Printable Bible Verse Coloring Page. 

Here is a printable Bible verse picture to color a popular verse of scripture from the Sermon On The Mount. The picture is a little like an illuminated text but not overdone, or else you would not be able to color it in. It is a great kids' craft or coloring page for adults to enjoy too.

Adults may like to color this too. Coloring in the scripture helps you to memorize it, and when it is displayed, it is a reminder of God's love.

"And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these." Matthew 6:28-29. 

ABOUT MY ART

This was a hard picture for me to create. I did a lot of research on the flowers, and I had to draw them many times before they looked like lilies. I had to print the words and trace them onto the picture. It took more time than I was able to keep track of. But now that it is done, I am very happy with how it looks.

There are a lot of ways this picture can be colored. 
  • The letters can be colored in different colors. 
  • The lilies on the lower right can be a lot of colors. 
  • The lilies on the left are normally white or green, but it is your project, so do it any way you want. The frame bars can be red, brown-yellow, or gold to contrast with all the green. 
  • I like to do the background with a little shading to look like parchment before I do the letter.
