Proverbs 1:7, The Fear Of The Lord, Printable Coloring Page

Proverbs 1:7 Printable Colring Page. This is a printable picture to color of a popular verse of scripture from the book of Proverbs. The picture is a little like an illuminated text but not overdone or else you would not be able to color it in.

Parents and teachers can use this in Vacation Bible School, Children's Church, Bible Class, after school Bible club, Chruch camp, or wherever God's Word is loved. It can be used as an extra time activity in class or send it home with the kids to reinforce the lesson.

Adults may like to color this too. Coloring in the scripture helps you to memorize it and when it is displayed it is a reminder of God's Word.

Proverbs 1:7says, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7.

The letters can be colored different colors. The border can be multiple colors with one color for the frame and a contrasting color for the oak leaves.  I like to do a little shading in the background so it looks like parchment before I do the letters.

You can use more mediums such as markers and watercolor if you print it on cardstock.

To print the picture just highlight it and send it to your printer or save to your device for later. If you have problems printing see the "HOW TO PRINT" tab above or try one of the MODIFIED LINKS below.
