This is a free print and color page for the Bible verses of 1 Peter 5:6-7.
This is one of the most popular scripture passages. It is a favorite for memory work. It encourages us to be humble and promises that God will bless us if we do. Significantly, the following verse admonishes us to "cast" our anxiety on the Lord. Is it because we must be humble before we can cast our burdens on the Lord? This verse gives us much to think about, but we can all agree that it is comforting that "He cares for you." That care is abundantly clear when we see his Son on the cross dying for our sins.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7.
A WORD ABOUT MY ART
Typically, I spend days designing one of these coloring pages, but this one came off rather quickly. I used some resources and did some cut-and-paste techniques on the computer to pull it together. This one only took a day to finish. I wanted the picture to have a lot of interest and provide many opportunities for creative art.
I have wanted to do this passage since the two verses cover so many needs and are so popular.
