This is a free print and color page for the Bible verses of 1 Peter 5:6-7.
This is one of the most famous scripture passages. It is a favorite for memory work. It encourages us to be humble and promises that God will bless us if we do. Significantly, the following verse admonishes us to "cast" our anxiety on the Lord. Is it because we must be humble before we can cast our burdens on the Lord? This verse gives us much to think about, but we can all agree that it is comforting that "He cares for you." That care is abundantly clear when we see his Son on the cross dying for our sins.

A WORD ABOUT MY ART
Typically, I spend days designing one of these coloring pages, but this one came off rather quickly. I used some resources and did some cut-and-paste techniques on the computer to pull it together. This one only took a day to finish. I wanted the picture to have a lot of interest and provide many opportunities for creative art.
A WORD ABOUT COLORING THE PICTURE
If you use colored pencils or fine-tipped markers, you can do a lot with this picture.
There are a lot of ways you can color this picture to make it look beautiful.
There are a lot of flowers and ribbons around the border to color.
There are pictures of people praying at the bottom a shepherd at the top, and a heart.
The letters can be colored in, and the frame bars can be a contrasting color; the backgrounds can be areas of complementary colors.
I hope your picture is a joy for you and others.
