Free Matthew 2:1-2 Christmas Verse Coloring Page

Here is a free Bible verse coloring page for the Advent season.

This is the scripture where the Wise men tell they have seen the star and have come to worship the King.

Matthew 2:1-2 says,

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, asking, "Where is the One who has been born King of the Jews? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him." Matthew 2:1-2.

If you want to study this verse, here is a link to a hub of helpful commentaries on it. CLICK HERE.

I worked insanely hard on this picture. My method is to trace something repeatedly until I have it the way I want. I had to trace the figures of each Wise man about 8 times, maybe more. The whole picture took about five hours to create. But for all that, I am delighted with how it turned out, and I hope you like it.

If you have any problems making the picture print, CLICK HERE to visit the how-to-print page for some suggestions, or you may try the PDF file below.

It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I create them because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

Thank You!

There are many things you can do to color this picture beautifully. Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils. The sky can be dark, and you can just leave the letters to the words as white. The three kings can be a point for a lot of colors. There is a little landscape to color. It can be a dark night scene but don't use black use purple, violet, and lavender to give it a nighttime look. Use dark blue for the sky.  The frame bars can be a contrasting color.  If you are creative, you might try using sticker stars on the different stars in the picture.

I hope you color a masterpiece.

Blessings, And Thank You.
