Free Deuteronomy 6:6-7 Bible Verse Print and Color Page

This is a printable coloring page with Deuteronomy 6:6-7.

This print and color page features a favorite and inspirational verse from God'sWord.

It helps you to memorize the scripture when you color in the words to the verse.

THE VERSE
This scripture admonishes us to become so familiar with God's commandments that they are daily common conversations. It teaches that there is no place where we cannot discuss and teach God's word. This scripture in particular, tells us to talk to our children daily and often about God's Word.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 says,

"These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.  Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." Deuteronomy 6:6-7.

THE ART
I draw the borders by hand and use a lightbox to trace the picture over a few times until I am happy with it. I wanted to do something that is like an ancient manuscript with a flowery border and twisty vines. I drew the flowers all over to give it some points where you can be creative and add color.

  • The flowers are different types, so each type can be a different color.

Here is a printable coloring page with Isaiah 49:15-16.

This print and color page features an inspirational verse about God's great love for you. It is the favorite verse about how God has engraved our names on the palms of His hands.  It makes us think about Christ's wounds that he received at the cross when he died for mankind's sins.

ABOUT PRINTING

If you need help printing, CLICK HERE to see my how-to-print page, where I have put some tips and suggestions. You can try the updated link below.

If you print on heavy cardstock paper, you may be able to use watercolor paint or pens and inks.

COLOR THE PICTURE

When you color in words to the verse, it helps you reflect on the scripture and even memorize it.

There are a lot of things to color in this picture. The flowers are all different shapes and sizes, so they can be colored in different ways. The frame bars can be a bright contrasting color, and the letters of the words can be filled in with a different color but try something besides black since it can look lovely if the letters are something else. The background around the letters can be filled in, too; try a natural warm color like tan, so it looks like an ancient manuscript. Of course, the two hearts in the corners can be red or pink.

Children like to color the picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in.

Blessings, and Thank You

Bible Time Fun Printable Issue 45 With 5 Scripture activities.

As your children do the activities they will be engaging in God's Word personally and directly. This kid's Bible Fun Time printable has five scripture-based activities that will engage the kids in their individual unique style of learning. I spent a lot of time selecting the verses and know God will use them in young hearts.

THIS ISSUE FEATURES
  • The coloring picture is inspired by 1 Corinthians 5:17.
  • The word search is taken from Hebrews 12:2.
  • The crossword uses 2:38.
  • The explorer’s challenge (mini Bible study) uses 1 John 3:16.
  • The cipher uses Hebrews 11:1.
HERE IS AN IDEA
If you have a senior center in your community these printables are an ideal outreach since the letters are large for those with vision concerns and the gospel is presented in many issues.  Seniors enjoy puzzles so they will do the word search and the crossword and while doing it they will be receiving the ministry of God's Word.

These printables are perfect to give to the kids as an extra time activity for class club or camp.
  • Use as a Sunday school craft or handout.
  • Use them as a hand-out at the end class.
  • Send these Kid's Bible Handouts home after club.
  • Include these Bible activities in a welcome packet
  • Keep some at the welcome center.
  • Give these Bible fun worksheets to kids at the beginning of a long meeting to keep the little ones quietly occupied.
  • Mail these Bible Fun Printables to visitors with a thank you for visiting note
  • Mail these Scripture kids Pages to those who missed a Sunday.
  • Mail them as a follow up for Camp or Vacation Bible School.
  • Keep extras in the classroom to use as needed.
I am excited when I think about how God is using this little project.
