This is a beautiful scripture of comfort in God's love. 

When you finish coloring it, the page reminds you of God's Word. Coloring the letters is a great way to memorize the scripture.

The verse is taken from the new living translation; I felt it was more intimate than the other versions.

Psalm 27:10 says,

"Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close." Psalm 27:10.

There are a lot of opportunities to be creative with this picture. Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, to get into the smaller areas. You can buy Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (Look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in.
