James 1:12 says,
"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." James 1:12.
When you color the letters in it helps you to remember them and to memorize it. When it is done, this is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.

If you print on cardstock, then you can use markers or water-based paint.
There are a lot of ways it can be colored.
I would suggest using a dark color for the lettering and a faint color for the background.
The letters are small and would be good to use a fine-tipped marker or coloring pencils.
The hearts offer a lot of places for pink or red, and the vines can be green.
Try a different color for the frame border.
The crown can be yellow or orange light blue, or silver.
