Free Easter Bible Verse Coloring Printable with Luke 24:5b

I am glad to share my coloring page that illustrates the angel's words who proclaimed that Christ was raised from the dead, as told in Luke 24:5b.

This printable coloring page is free. There is a link below for the PDF

THE VERSE

This is a wonderful scripture, and it gives us so much hope and joy.  It is part of the resurrection story where the women were going to anoint the body of Christ.  They found the tomb empty, and they were met by angels who told them that Jesus is not dead but alive. Many people have found inspiration in this verse. It has given hope for generations. A lot of people have written songs and books on the key phrase of "He is risen." One of my favorites is the tapestry art by Tiffany dawn smith. You can see it at Society6 CLICK HERE to see this beautiful art.

Luke 24:5 says, And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? Luke 24:5.

THE ART

I drew the border a few years ago to illustrate another scripture, so I used it to frame this illustration. The illustration is something I drew for the BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY Easter Special Activity Mini-magazine that I drew for church.  When I first did the illustration, I had to trace it 4 times, and I traced the figures or parts more times to get them right.  I liked it so much that I wanted to share it with a broader audience, so I decided to dedicate a coloring page to the illustration.  I used the computer to merge the two images together and then used the computer to draw the sun's rays to go beyond the border of the picture; I think it makes the picture more dynamic and different from what other people are putting out there.   I hope you like this picture and have fun coloring it.

If you like the illustration, you can receive more every week in an activity mini-magazine that I send to those who support my coloring pictures blog through Patreon with a monthly gift of $3.50 and receive the thank you gift of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY every week. COLOR THE PICTURE
This can be a beautiful picture if you use colored pencils or fine-tipped markers.  There are a lot of ways that this picture can be colored.
  • The letters are opened and can be filled in, but try not to use black- do something interesting like blue, brown, or red.
  • The scene gives a lot of opportunity for color.
  • It can look like dawn with light blue in the sky and golden rays from the sun.
  • The flowers around the border can be a lot of different colors, and there is a ribbon that can be a contrasting color.
  • The frame bars can be another contrasting color.
  • I hope you create a masterpiece!

Blessings, and Thank you.
