I did this as a page for my children's Bible verse activity magazine. I traced the flowers about three times before they looked right. After tracing the art, I downloaded it to my computer and cleaned it up, and made more changes. I used the computer to create the letters.

COLOR THE PICTURE
This picture can be beautiful when you color it.
- Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils to get into the more delicate areas.
- Use more than one hue of green for the vines and leaves.
- The frame bars can be a contrasting color.
- The background can be pale. Using tan or light brown will give it a parchment-like appearance, like an ancient manuscript.
- The letters can be colored in; I like to use a color other than black for the words.
