Free Children's Bible Class Activity Bulletin Pages issue 120

I am glad to share BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY issue 120, a free Children's Bible verse activity booklet.

The PDF to this issue is below the sample pages. There is a link to the list of all available Bible Activity Bulletins.

What This Is

I make these Bible activity books for the kids in my church. But many other churches are using them for their Sunday morning worship and for Children's church, VBS, outreach, Bible clubs like Awanas, Good news clubs, and Backyard Bible club. Some people tell me that they give them out at the beginning of the meeting for the kids to do quietly.

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is a Bi-fold double-sided four-page activity magazine. It has fun puzzles games and pictures to color. (Those who subscribe through Patreon receive an additional 2 pages).

Each activity is built on a Bible verse so that as the child is doing the activity, they are becoming engaged with God's Word, which will not return void. (Isaiah 55:10-11)

Most of the activities have a "Let's talk about it." question so teachers and parents can move from an activity to a spiritual discussion.

You can receive this activity bulletin every week.

If you would like to receive this activity Bible booklet every week, then become a Patron.  Your small donation of $3:50 a month will enable me to create more of these for you. As my Thank-You,  you will receive an email every week with a link to  BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY. These will contain the BONUS material available only to patrons. It has pages of puzzles, coloring pictures, and games for the kids.  You are welcome to share it with the kids in your church, Awana Bible club, the class came, VBS, Back yard Bible club, school, and home. Use the button below.

Thank You!

Thank you!

For this issue, I continued the new to a match-up activity where you draw a line to match the statement in the right column with the scripture on the left column. I thought it would be fun to think about what some Bible people said after meeting Jesus.

There are a total of 15 fun things to do with this issue. Most of the activities and puzzles have a “Let’s Talk About It” feature with an opened ended thought to question that I hope will inspire spirit-led conversation.

Issue 120 contains the following:

  • A hidden letter puzzle for Psalm 121:7-8, a verse of comfort.
  • A word search for Colossians 3:2, a verse on discipleship and a renewed mind.
  • A scrambler using Philippians 2:10-11, a prophecy scripture that calls us to honor the Lord.
  • The crossword puzzle uses Colossians 3:16, another discipleship verse.
  • The explorer’s challenge uses 1 John 4:7, a scripture that calls us to live a life of love.
  • A coloring page using Matthew 4:19, the favorite Fishers of men verse.
  • Another word search uses John 8:31-32, the truth will set you free verse.
  • A coloring page uses Hebrews 13:8 (available to Patrons only).
  • The cryptogram uses John 1:4-5 (available to Patrons only).
  • Read the backward verse activity uses 2 Corinthians 5:24 (available to Patrons only).
  • The shape sort puzzle uses James 1:13-15 (available to Patrons only).

ABOUT PRINTING

If you have problems making the image print, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print page to read some helpful tips. I have an updated link below that may work better on some systems.

About My Art.

I create my Bible verse coloring printables for you for free. They take a long time to create, but I am glad to do it for you. You are welcome to print as many as you can use.

It took a day to create this picture. I traced it once and then cleaned it up on the computer. Then I decided to make some changes while on the computer with the dove and the lamb, and that added more difficulty to the picture, but I really wanted to give more color to the picture than just flowers and leaves. After that, I spent more time cleaning things up. But I am thrilled with you, it turned out.

I am excited that my coloring pages are so meaningful to so many. I am making some in the wonderful language of Tagalog for some friends in the Philippines. I used the border for the English version and recreated the scripture in the Tagalog language.

COLOR THE PICTURE

  • You can have a lot of fun coloring this picture. Use fine-tipped markers or coloring pencils
  • There are lots of flowers, vines, and leaves around the border to color.
  • You might want to color the leaves adjoining the flowers a different green than the vines since they cross over at a few points.
  • There is a sheep; you might want to keep him white, but you can color the grass and the background. There is a dove that you might want to keep him white, too, but the background can be colored and set it apart.
  • The frame bars can be colored, and the backgrounds, too.

Kids like to color this picture with crayons, but if you use colored pencils, you will get into the smaller areas. I personally like Prismacolor pencils. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

Thank You!

Here is the table of contents of this issue. As usual, I've tried to balance gospel, discipleship, worship, and the "hard sayings" of scripture:

  • For one coloring picture, I have 1 Samuel 17:45, David's reply to Goliath. (Supporters Version).
  • The shape sort puzzle uses Exodus 15:26, a scripture of challenge and promise. (Supporter's Version.)
  • The code-breaker puzzle uses Amos 9:6, a verse of worship. (Supporters Version)
  • The hidden letter puzzle uses Psalm 103:12, a favorite scripture of worship.
  • One of the word-search puzzles uses Matthew 6:24. It is one of those hard sayings of Jesus.
  • The maze uses Isaiah 55:6, a verse that tells us to seek God.
  • The drop word puzzle uses 1 Samuel 3:10b, where Samuel says, "Speak Lord you servant is listening." The memory verse craft is for Psalm 37:4, a scripture of promise with a condition.
  • The crossword puzzle uses Philippians 4:8-9, a favorite scripture.
  • The explorer's challenge (Mini Bible study) is for John 5:24, a gospel verse.
  • The scrambler uses Philippians 4:4, a scripture that reminds us to be joyful.
  • Another coloring page uses Proverbs 18:10, a verse of comfort and worship.
  • The second word-search puzzle uses Romans 5:7-8, a scripture that is used in telling the gospel.
  • The match-up uses 9 verses about Jesus and relates them to the stone that David used. (Supporters version).
Almost every activity has a "Let's talk about it" question for parents or teachers to begin a spiritual conversation. I struggle with these and often rewrite them three or four or more times before they are right. There is something for everybody. I hope you are blessed by this activity bulletin.

Here are two sample pages of Issue 119.

WHAT THIS IS

For some time, I have been making these Children's Bible activity bulletins for my church. I am humbled and joyful that churches use them for their Sunday morning worship and for Children's church, VBS, outreach, Bible clubs like Awanas, Good news clubs, and Backyard Bible club. This is a four-page Bi-fold double-sided activity bulletin with fun puzzles, games, and pictures to color. (Subscribers through Patreon receive an additional 2 pages).

Each activity is built on a Bible verse so that as the child is doing the activity, they are becoming engaged with God's Word, which will not return void. (Isaiah 55:10-11)

Every scripture has a discussion question, and I hope the discussion questions give you opportunities to talk about spiritual things.  I try to keep them open-ended and even a little vague on purpose. I pray that you have life-changing conversations with the children because of these.

ABOUT ISSUE 118

I think this issue has many great scriptures, and anyone using it will encounter God's Word.

This issue has a variety of themes and topics.
  • The first coloring picture uses Matthew 6:26-27, "Look at the birds…." (Subscriber's version only)
  • The shape sort puzzle uses Matthew 5:11-12, one of the blessings of the Sermon on the Mount. (Subscriber's version only)
  • The code-beaker puzzle (It may be a bit challenging) uses Psalm 63:3-4. (Subscriber's version only)
  • The crossword uses Romans 8:15, a verse about the gift of the Spirit.
  • The Explorer's Challenge (Mini Bible Study) uses John 14:27, Jesus' words of peace.
  • The scrambler uses Acts 16:31, a verse we often quote when sharing the Gospel.
  • Another coloring picture uses John 8:12, where Jesus teaches that he is the light of the world.
  • Another word search uses Philippians 2:3-4, a favorite verse about putting others first.
  • The maze uses Matthew 5:14, the city on the hill verse.
  • The drop word puzzle uses Matthew 12:30; he who is not with me is against me. (It is one of those hard sayings of Jesus that we like to avoid, but we still need to be faithfully teaching.)
  • The memory verse craft uses Matthew 4:19.
  • The hidden letter puzzle uses Romans 6:23; it is one of those essential scriptures to share the Gospel.
I am delighted with the "Hidden letter Puzzle," It was a lot of work.  I did have a problem; I began to feel a nagging that some letters were not the right size, but I had started and was well into it, so I thought it would be ok but not great. Then after spending two hours creating each letter in a text box and pasting it into the image, I was moving from one screen to another and forgot to save it! My work was lost! I wondered if I should leave it out. Still, I remember as a child the satisfaction I felt when finding an item in a hidden picture puzzle, so I started over. You know what, I think the second version is far superior to the first since I was able to make the foundational changes at the beginning. Now, it is one of my favorite elements in this issue. I hope you enjoy it!

The word search puzzles took all my brainpower! I kept trying to squeeze in another word from the verses. They went through several versions, each requiring changes, printing, and testing the puzzle.  But I would see a place where just a letter or two would combine with others to make a word, so I kept redoing them. But they turned out great!

Here is a file in PDF that may work better on some devices.

PRINT IT

I used Microsoft Word to create the picture; it is a JPEG, which should work on most computers and printers.  It was designed for USA letter size paper. If you are using a different paper, you will need to change your program's settings. Sometimes people have trouble making it print and if you do, then CLICK HERE see my HOW-TO-PRINT page for some suggestions. I have created an updated image in PDF.

MY COLORING PICTURE ART

I made this because I was asked to create coloring pages for a special needs family weekend camp. These coloring pages needed to be simple and easy for younger people with different physical challenges. You might think the picture is simple, but it took all afternoon to create it. I use some icons so that more people could relate to them. You can use it in your Children's church, VBS, Bible clubs, like Awanas or Good News Club, or outreach. I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

This picture can be beautiful when you color it. You can use crayons, but if you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you can get into the finer areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor pencils because they are so brilliant and blend so well. You can find them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby stores. You can usually find coupons for good discounts. There are lots of flower shapes to color in. The letters can be colored in; I like to use something besides black for the words.

Blessings, and thank you.

THE VERSE

Romans 3:28 is one of those verses we all want to memorize, and maybe we take it for granted. It is simple and promises that God is working in our situations or in our hearts.
We know that God is always at work for the good of everyone who loves him. They are the ones God has chosen for his purpose," Romans 8:38.

ABOUT PRINTING

The picture below is a JPEG. It behaves like a Word doc, and most people do not have problems printing it. Some people may have trouble, and if you do, CLICK HERE to visit the HOW TO PRINT tab for suggestions. Or, if you prefer, you may use the PDF file I placed below the picture.

THE ART

It may take me hours to draw one of these coloring pages for you. I offer them for free, so print as many as you like. Please consider making a small donation through Paypal to help me continue to create these coloring pages.

I was asked to make some coloring pages for a weekend camp for children with special needs, and this is one of the coloring printables I came up with. I kept it simple and used larger shapes.  I chose to use the first part of the verse because the entire verse would make the letters too small and contained grown-up words that might have not been meaningful for the kids or even cause confusion.
The background took about an hour to draw with a straight edge and a Sharpie. For the letters, I used the computer to create them with cut-and-paste. It took a long time to get things to look balanced.
It was a lot of work, and I am happy with how it turned out.

You are welcome to use it in your children's church, Bible club, VBS, Camp, or home. I think the design will be practical for children and adults to get a lot out of it. I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

Get creative! The letters are opened up so you can color them in.  Children like to color the picture with crayons, but if you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in.
I hope you create a masterpiece!

Blessings, and thank you.

Free Printable Children's Bible Activity Pages #116

I am delighted to share with you the children's activity booklet I created for my church. BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY issue 116.

Scroll down to access the link for the free PDF.

ABOUT BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY

This activity booklet can be used in many ways, including VBS, Children's Church, Bible Club, such as Awanas or Good news club,  Back yard Bible club. It is free (The subscribers' version is only $3:50 US) and can be used by a smaller church or church plant that may have a limited budget for children's ministry.  If you are already using Lifeway or David C Cook materials, you can also use this as a take-home handout.

ISSUE 116

I hope you have as much fun with these Bible activity booklets as I do when I create them.  There are puzzles and coloring pages, and word search activities for all ages. I know sometimes I get carried away and make the puzzles a little challenging. Still, I hope that this is something that parents or teachers can do together with their children. After working through one of the activities, they can talk about the question associated with the verse for that puzzle.

My favorite activity to create in this issue is the Luke 6:46 code-breaker puzzle (which is included only in the Subscribers version). I replaced the letters of the verse with wingdings and pictographs to generate a code. There are a few clues to help one break the code.

The hardest to create was the hidden letter puzzle.  It was a lot of work to draw the background then add over 70 textboxes with individual letters. But I am delighted with how it turned out.

As always, I try to offer different scriptures covering several themes from the Word. Some are about God's provision; others are calls to discipleship and obedience. At least two are foundational to understanding the Gospel.

Coloring page with Jeremiah 29:11. (Only in the subscriber's version).
The shape sort puzzle using Matthew 7:26-27. (Only in the subscriber's version).
Explorer's challenge (a mini Bible study) Luke 9:23.
Scrambler with 1 John 5:12.
A word search using Acts 2:38.
The drop word puzzle using Proverbs 2:6.
A memory verse craft with Psalms 86:5.
Find the hidden letters using Jeremiah 9:24.
A second Word search (big letters) using Galatians 2:20.
Explorer's challenge using Matthew 5:16.
A multi maze using 1 Corinthians 13:13b.
Another coloring page with 2 Corinthians 5:21
The Crossword features Romans 12:2.
The Codebreaker uses Luke 6:46. (Only in the subscriber's version).
A second scrambler using Psalm 33:18.

When you become a supporter, you will receive additional pages of activities.

As always, almost every verse is accompanied by a "Let's talk about it" question.  I hope these open-ended questions will spark meaningful conversations between youth and their parents or teachers.

MY COLORING PICTURE ART

I made this because I was asked to create some coloring pages for a special needs families weekend camp. These coloring pages needed to be simple and easy for younger people who have different physical challenges. You might think the picture is simple, but it took all afternoon to create it. I use some icons so that more people could relate to it.  I hope you like it.

PRINT IT

I used Microsoft Word to create the picture below, and it is a JPEG, which should work on most computers and printers.  It was designed for USA letter size paper. If you are using a different paper, you will need to change your program's settings. Sometimes people have trouble making it print and if you do, then CLICK HERE to see my how-to-print page for some suggestions. I have created an updated image in PDF, and you can find it below.

Free Philippians 4:4 Print and Color Page, with "Rejoice in the Lord," Bible Verse.

I am delighted to share my free print and color page for Psalm 18:24,  Bible verse.

THE VERSE

This is a well-known scripture. It is from the writings of the Apostle Paul in his Philippian Epistle. I am always impressed by the understanding that this may have been his last writing before his martyrdom; therefore, reading so many statements about rejoicing is a powerful testimony of the Gospel of hope in his life. It is an inspirational verse and gives us a lot to think about and to be thankful for.

Philippians 4:4 says, " Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4.

Free Printable Kids Bible Activities in a Bulletin, Issue 115

I am delighted to share the printable children's church activity booklet I created for my church.

Scroll down to access the link for the free PDF.

I create these every week for my church. They are like a booklet that you print both sides, staple the pages together and fold in half. I call it BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY. There are coloring pictures and puzzles. Every activity features a scripture verse as the text, so as kids are doing the puzzles, coloring pages, and brainteasers, they are being exposed to God's Word, "which will not return void."  I always try to use different scriptures so everything stays fresh. I include some of the lesser-known and even challenging verses.  It takes a lot of record-keeping and double-checking.

This activity bulletin can be used in many ways, including VBS, Children's Church, Bible Club, such as Awanas or Good news club,  Back yard Bible club. It is free (The subscribers' version is only $3:50 US) and can be used by a smaller church or church plant that may have a limited budget for children's ministry.  If you are already using Lifeway or David C Cook materials, you can also use this as a take-home handout.

This is issue 115 and has various scriptures; some are devotional, some are gospel, and some are discipleship.

This free version has the following scriptures and activities.

Coloring page with Acts 2:21.
Crossword using Hebrews 4:12.
Word search using Philippians 2:3-4.
Maze with Psalm 119:17.
Drop-word puzzle (fill in the blanks) Proverbs 13:20.
Memory verse craft activity, Timothy 1:7.
Find the hidden letters using Romans 8:32.
Explorer's challenge (A mini Bible study) using Matthew 5:16.
Scrambler using Psalms 91:1.
Word search using Matthew 20:26-28.

When you become a supporter, you will receive an additional 2 pages of activities.

As always, almost every verse is accompanied by a "Let's talk about it" question.  I hope these open-ended questions will spark meaningful conversations between youth and their parents or teachers.
