Tortoise And The Hare Print and Color Page

Kids love this free to print and color page about Aesop's famous fable of the Hare who took a nap when he thought he won the race but while he is sleeping the tortoise passes by and wins. This teaches a great life lesson that we often need to learn over and again.

This coloring page can be used at home or in school. It can be part of a lesson or given out as an extra time activity.  It can be used in the office to give people something to do while they sit in the waiting room. It can be printed and brought on vacation to occupy little ones in the long car ride.

This is helpful for parents and teachers to use in teaching the lesson of Aesop's fable. It could be used as a classroom activity or as a take-home project.

There are many areas for creative coloring on this page. The tortoise can be green or brown or a combination. The road can be clay, brown, red or grey. The grasses and trees can be various hues of green. There are some flowers that can be used to add color. The distant horizon can be purple and the hare can be brown or just leave him white. The finish banner can be pink if the road is blue or gray and it will stand out. If the road is clay or brown then do the banner in a light blue.

Dog And Cat Friends Print and Color Page.

Free dog and cat are friends print and color page.

Parents and teachers may use this free printable coloring page to teach a positive message about sharing and becoming friends with others who may be different.

Dog and Cat are fishing at the mountain lake and Cat shares an extra sandwich with Dog. Some students find an activity such as coloring a picture reinforces a lesson. This can be given as an extra classroom assignment to fill extra time or as a take-home project.

Cat and Dog Are Friends And Go Fishing, Print, and Color Page.

There are many opportunities for creative coloring.

The water should be dark in the foreground but lighter far away. The dock can be grey or brown or red or any combination. The sky can be blue, a creative person might add some clouds or the sun in the sky. The hills across the lake can be many greens. The mountains in the distance can be blue, lavender, grey or brown. There can be shadows in the trees and the mountains.

Joshua 24:15 Print And Color Page: "But As For Me And My House We Will Serve The Lord."

This is a free Joshua 24:15 print and color page. 

Here is a Bible verse coloring page that helps kids learn the scripture.  I drew this one for the Awana club at church to go with a lesson. I drew it freehand, and it is a little goofy, but that may be why the kids like it so much and why it has been so popular over the years.

This is a verse of dedication and devotion.  It teaches us that we are each one of us responsible to make a personal choice to follow the lord.  This is a good verse to use to challenge people to trust the lord because if you have not trusted the Lord as your Savior, then you can not serve him. 

Joshua 24:25 says

"Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15, 

I spent an entire evening drawing the house. I had to trace it a bunch of times. I wanted it to look like an old victorian house so that you would have a lot of fun things to color.

There are many ways a person can color this for fun. The mouse can be pink, brown, or leave her white and color the background around her to make her look whiter. The slippers can be pink or blue; you might make the bow on her head match. The heart can be red or pink, and the letters can be any combination of colors. A creative artist could add some shadows.

Ephesians 2:8-9 Print and Color Page for Kids.

This is a free Ephesians 2:8-9 coloring page for teachers and parents.

There are lots of letters for fine finger work. There are hearts and vines on the edge to color. There are lots of flowers at the bottom to color.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says, 

"For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourself it is a gift of God- not by works so that no one can boast."  Ephesians 2:8-9.

The verse reinforces a lesson on God's grace and salvation by faith and coloring it will help the kids to remember the lesson.
