"When there are many words, sin is unavoidable, but the one who controls his lips is prudent." Proverbs 10:19.

ABOUT THE ART

This picture took so long to design and create. It took a lot of tracing and doing things over until it was right. The words were printed and then traced around them to give them space that can be colored. After I scanned everything back into the computer, I had to clean things up using Microsoft paint. I am pleased with how it turned out.

COLOR THIS PICTURE

There are a lot of ways this Bible verse printable can be colored. If you print it on cardstock, it can take wetter mediums like watercolor or markers. Children like to color the picture with crayons, but if you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, to get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) I like to color the background a soft blue and the lettering a dark, dramatic color like blue, brown, lavender, or purple. The border frames can be a completely different color that can contrast.
