John 1:14 Print And Color Page, The Word Became Flesh Bible Verse

I am delighted to share my free John 1:14 print and color page with you.

The verse on this coloring page is one that many people memorize.  The Gospel of John Chapter 1 is part of the passage that teaches us who Christ was in eternity and who he is to us. 

Coloring the letters in the letters to the words helps you to remember the verse. When it is done, the page is a reminder of God's Word.

John 1:14 says,

"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14.

MY ART

I spent a day creating this coloring page. I use a lightbox and a fine-tipped marker to trace parts of it from other coloring pages. And the letters were printed from the computer, and then I traced around them. I use the scanner on my printer to download the drawing into the computer and then used the Microsoft paint program to clean it up and add the straight lines.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of ways to color this and a lot of opportunities for creativity. If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. The letters are big enough to color in. The letters are best if dark. Try using red in places. Try coloring the background and filling in the frames. The crown can be yellow, orange, and red. The flowers can be pink, violet, lavender, or red. Try using a different green on the vines. The paisley decoration can be blues or greys. Remember to color in the background areas in the frame and behind the letters.

If you take your time, you will want to mount and frame it to be admired by all and a reminder of the truth of God's Word.
