THE VERSE

1 Chronicles 16:8 is a beautiful scripture of worship and thanksgiving to God for His blessings. It is a call to give thanks and to declare God's works so that we can praise him together. It puts thanksgiving together with calling on the Lord and telling others about His deeds.

Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name, make known His deeds among the people. 1 Chronicles 16:8.

THE ART

I worked all day on designing and creating this coloring page. It went through several major revisions; at one point, I had a lot of paisley designs around the border, but I thought it was too much and ended up using some of the lines of the shapes for the vines.

ABOUT PRINTING

The pictures below are in JPEG format and should not give you a problem. I designed them for printing in US standard letter size; if your paper is a different size, you should be able to change the settings in your printer to make it fill the page properly. This picture can look very nice when you color it, especially if you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils. There are lots of flowers around the border and leaves to color. The flowers can be of different colors. There is a frame that is behind the flowers. The letters can be colored in. The background can be a different hue from the rest of the picture.
