THE VERSE
This is a beautiful and simple Scripture, but because it is simple does not mean it is not deep. The verse has the force of a command. Significantly, Paul wrote these words while in prison. It is a challenge to us who rejoice in circumstances and things and our own sources of happiness. The verse reminds us that our joy comes from the Lord and not worldly things.

Philippians 4:4 says,
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will repeat it: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4.

THE ART.
This is my original art and mostly drawn by hand, although with a lot of tracing. I spent two days drawing the flowers for the background of this picture. I had to trace them twice, and then after I scanned the image into the computer, I had to clean it up using the Paint program. I am glad it turned out so nicely. I hope you like it.
PRINT IT
The image below is a JPEG and should work on most computers and printers, but if you have trouble making it print out, then CLICK HERE to visit my HOW-TO-PRINT tab for some suggestions. I have created an updated image in PDF, and you can find it below.

COLOR
There are lots of ways that you can color this to make it beautiful. Many flowers can be lots of different colors, or you can just choose a few colors and repeat a pattern of colors repeatedly. The letters can be colored in. You might want to use some contrasting colors for the letters. The frame can be a different contrasting color. I think the frame in a picture like this looks best if it is dark.
I hope you have as much fun coloring this picture as I had in drawing it.
Blessings, and Thank you.
