THE VERSE
This is one of those challenging scriptures. It challenges us to make Christ our personal Lord in the deepest most essential way in our hearts. It challenges us to have an attitude of readiness to testify about the gospel. It reminds us about the hope we have. It challenges us to be gentle and respectful when we share our faith.
1 Peter 3:15 says, "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect," 1 Peter 3:15.

ABOUT THE ART
I spent all afternoon working on this printable. Part of the border art was reprised from one of my coloring pages from last year. But I redrew most of it to make it fresh and give room for the text. I added the hearts to connect with the message of honoring Christ in our hearts. There was a lot of cleaning up needed on the computer and I had to print it out a few times before it looked beautiful. I am so delighted with the way it turned out, and I hope you like it.
WHY SO MANY PRINTABLES HERE
I believe in God's Word and that is living and has the power to change lives. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believe he offers salvation free to all who come to him. Since my blog is seen around the world I have added a Spanish and a Chinese language printable. I pray that the Lord uses this ministry of art to the nations. Please pray that as people are exposed to God's word through coloring pages that the Holy Spirit will use the scripture to bring them to the Savior. Thank you.

COLOR THIS PICTURE
If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils this can look stunning when you are done. The border has a lot of interesting flowers and leaves to color. The flowers can be any color you want. You can use different greens for the leaves and for the stems. There are some hearts here and there to color too, they do not need to be red but you can use other colors too like pink or lavender or purple. There is a frame that is wrapped by the flowers and vines, the frame can be a contrasting color for interest. The background can be a contrasting hue. Think about coloring the letters something interesting not just black.
I hope you make a masterpiece out of it!
