Ephesians 6:10, Be Strong In The Lord, Free Coloring Page.

This is a free Ephesians 6:10 print and color page.

This verse is a wonderful scripture of encouragement. At first, it seems to command strength, but we are not to maintain our own strength. Instead, we look to the power of His might, which makes it a faith verse. We are strong but not in ourselves, or strength is in the Lord.

A WORD ABOUT PRINTING

You can have a lot of fun coloring this picture. Kids like to color every letter a different color.

This is one of my favorite drawings. I traced it over several times to get it right. I wanted the image to b a combination of an ancient warrior and a contemporary youth. The picture has a youth holding the sword of the Spirit and the Shield of Faith and wearing the Helmet of Salvation. The verse is written in letters that can be colored in.

The Bible verse is from John 11:25: "Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life, those who believe in me will live, even though they die" I had to abbreviate it for the artwork but I felt the important part was to get the message that Jesus is the resurrection and the life.

I spend hours creating coloring pages like this, I do it because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

There are lots of areas in which a young artist may be creative with this picture. The letters are big enough to color in. Some kids really get into this and color every letter differently. The sky can be blue, and a young artist may want to draw clouds in the sky. The mountain and foreground can be browns, reds, or greens.

The Boy Who Cried Wolf, Free Coloring Page

It was a very difficult fable to illustrate and took several days to get it organized to tell the point of the fable and still be something that gives young artists opportunities to color in. The story is classic; the shepherd boy had cried wolf so many times the men of the village no longer paid attention, so when a wolf appears, no one comes to his aid.   In my illustration, I have the men walking back to the village, covering their ears, and the wolf menacingly looking over the sheep pen wall while the sheep cower around the shepherd who is vainly calling for help. I did not want it to look too terrible so as not to disturb young minds.

There are a lot of opportunities for young artist to be creative with this picture. There elements of landscape and drama. The sheep pen wall can be gray, brown or sandstone red, the landscape can be full of greens, the village can have red roofs, the men can have all kinds of colors on their clothing and the wolf can be gray or black.

ABOUT MY ART

I create free coloring pages because I love God's Word, and I hope they bring you blessing. I am glad to do it for you. You are welcome to print as many of my coloring pages as you need.

This coloring page is a simple one, featuring words in large letters that kids can color in; this helps them memorize the verse. I drew this for the kids in my Awana club.  I had to print the words from my computer and then trace them to make them look nice.

Kids love to color the letters. Seeing how they choose a different color for each letter is fun. Some really get into it.

Blessings, and thank you.
