ABOUT MY ART

Coloring the letters in the words helps you remember the verse. When it is done, the page reminds us of God's Word.

I worked on this picture for about three hours. It took a lot of tracing things over to get it right. I had to print the words out, then trace them on another page, tracing to the border and artwork, and scan it back into the computer, where I cleaned everything up and put it in straight lines. I hope you like it as much as I do.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of ways this can be colored. If you print it on cardstock, it can accommodate wetter mediums, such as watercolor or markers. 

I like to color the background a soft blue and the lettering a dark, dramatic color, such as blue, brown, lavender, or purple. 

The border frames can be a completely different color for contrast.

Kids like to color with crayons, but using colored pencils allows you to get into smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor, which can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

ABOUT THE ART

This picture took so long to design and create. It took a lot of tracing and doing things over until it was right. The words were printed and then traced around them to give them space that can be colored. After I scanned everything back into the computer, I had to clean things up using Microsoft Paint. I am pleased with how it turned out.

I create these coloring pages because I love the Bible, and I hope they bring you a blessing. You may print as many as you can use.

Print and Fold Encouragement Card With Bible Verse, Isaiah 40:31

This is a free inspiring little printable greeting card.

Color this by hand, fold it, write something inside, and it is ready to give.

Why pay five dollars for a card when you can print this for pennies? And when you color it in, it has a personal touch.

It will fit in the standard invitation envelope that you can get at any office supply store. Print on heavy and firm cardstock, like 60 lb or 80 lb paper. After it is printed, cut it in half across at 5.5 inches (this is assuming US measurements of an 8.5 x 11 sheet) and then fold it in half down the middle. Color with Sharpies or pencils.

The Bible verse on the cover is, "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31.
