Here is a printable coloring page featuring a verse of scripture that outlines what God requires of those who seek to please Him. It tells us nothing complicated but simply to do justice, mercy, and humility. It is a favorite verse of faith and instruction.

You can meditate on the scripture while coloring the letters, and when it's done, you'll have a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teachings.

There are many ways to color this.
  • The background behind the letters can be blue, like the sky, so the illustration connects to the verse.
  • The man can be any color.
  • The landscape is broken up by rocks and plants, providing an opportunity for creativity.
  • The horizon has mountains and trees that can be light green.
  • Flowers in the top corners and numerous leaves could be colored in various shades of green.
  • I like the flowers to be pink, but any color will do, or even leave them white.

ABOUT MY ART

I had to work on this for hours to get the figure and the little landscape illustration to look right. I had to do a lot of tracing on everything, and probably drew this picture four times before I was happy with it. The letters were tricky. I am delighted with how the scene and the artwork turned out.

I draw these coloring pages because I love the Word of the Lord. I hope they are a blessing to you.

I hope you enjoy coloring this picture as much as I enjoyed drawing it. (I had to draw it at least four times before I got it right.) I know you will have a wonderful time with it.

ABOUT MY ART
I had to trace parts of this picture several times to get it right, but it turned out how I wanted it after a few tries.

Coloring the letters helps you memorize them, and when it's done, this becomes a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teachings.

You can color this picture in many different ways.
Try using a little tan or yellow on the background so it looks like parchment but fades to blue for the landscape.
It is easier to do the background and color the small letters on top.
It is a perfect project for fine-tipped markers or pencils.
If you print onto a heavier stock, it can take a wetter medium.

Blessings, and thank you.

Printable Coloring Page, Robin in a Tree

This is a printable picture to color of a nice robin bird in a tree.

I drew it for an art lesson for how to paint in watercolor but I thought it would be a nice one for the little artist to color in. It is very simple in design so the younger artist will not be too challenged by it.

Parents and teachers can use this in the home or school.
It can be used in the waiting room,
Or any place where little hands are happier if they are entertained.
It can be taken along as a vacation time activity in the car or on a plane ride.

The robin is famous for its orange-red chest. The back, wings, and tail are a dark gray, the head is black with a white ring around the eye.
If you have problems printing see the "HOW TO PRINT" tab above or try one of the updated links below that should print better.

If you print on heavy cardstock paper you may find that you can use watercolor paint or pens and inks.

COLOR THE PICTURE

When you color the letters in, it helps you memorize them, and when it is done, this is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.

I would suggest using red in the project, such as in the frame, and incorporating different colors into the decorations.
It looks better if you color in the background with a light tan or another warm color before doing the letters.
The letters are small, and it would be good to use a fine-tipped marker or coloring pencils.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

ABOUT THE ART
It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I draw them because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

This picture took a long time to design and draw; I spent the entire evening on it. I had to practice the oak leaves and paisley patterns several times and then trace them over a few more times. The letters were printed from my computer and then traced into the picture.  I am happy with the effect. The little tower was a huge project inside this project; I traced the tower several times to look nice, but seeing how nice it turned out, I am glad I did it. I printed the letters out and then traced around them, and then traced the border around the words. I like to create these coloring pages because I love God's word; I hope they are a blessing.

COLOR THE PICTURE

When you color the words in the verse, it helps you memorize them, and when it is done, this is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.
