Matthew 6:9-13, The Lord's Prayer Print and Color Page, KJV

I am delighted to share my free Matthew 6:9-13, The Lord's Prayer Print and Color page.

Both kids and adults enjoy coloring the verse. Coloring the letters of the words helps you remember them. When it is done, the page is a reminder of God's Word. It is a great kids' craft or coloring page for adults to enjoy, too.

You do not have to make a donation to download my coloring pages. However, if you want to donate, the button is located below the picture.

This is in the King James Version, which is how I memorized this passage as a kid, and the King James Version has poetry to it that seems more reverent than the more contemporary versions.

I will do a Modern text shortly.

Matthew 6:9-13 says,

"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen." Matthew 6:9-13, KJV.

  • The flowers can be a lot of different colors.
  •  I enjoy contrasting greens with reds.
  • The border frames can be a completely different color that contrasts.

My printable Hebrews 4:12 coloring page is not just for kids. I drew it for the kids in the Awana club at church.  Coloring the letters in the Bible verse helps you remember the verse and learn the Bible. When it is done, the page is a reminder of God's Word. It is a great kids' craft or coloring page for adults.

TO PRINT THE PICTURE

The image below should work on most printers when clicked and accessed through the pull-down menu. Sometimes people have trouble making the image center or fit on the page, and if you have problems, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print for some suggestions, or try one of the updated files below.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many ways to express yourself as you color this picture. If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, such as Prismacolor, which are my personal favorite, then you can get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and coupons are usually available online.
  • The letters can be any color, including dark brown, blue, or violet.
  • The heart can be pink or red, making it stand out in the frame.
  • The frame bars are good in a bright color like orange or red.
  • The sword can be a light blue, which will make it look like steel and is nicer than gray.
  • I suggest coloring the background in a pastel tan or light rose to contrast the other colors.
  • The Bible on the bottom can have red edges or yellow edges, which some Bibles have.

ABOUT MY ART
I drew this for the kids in our Awana Bible club in church. This coloring page is one of the most popular Bible verses. It is that promise that forgiveness of sin is available to the humble believer.  It says we must confess our sins to God because it uses the word "He."  It also teaches that he forgives us not because of our deeds but because of His own faithfulness and justice.  It assures us that His forgiveness is complete and nothing is left over for us to pay for or worry about.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of ways that you can color This picture. If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and there are usually coupons available online.  There are lots of flowers and vines to color green. There is a little cross on a landscape that can be fun to color in. There is a heart in a corner that allows brightening the picture up with some red. The letters can be any dark color; I recommend doing the background around the letters first in a pastel warm color to contrast with all the cool greens of the leaves.

Blessings, and thank you.

I drew this for the kids in our Children's Church; it took me many hours to create this picture. I printed the letters from the computer, then used a lightbox and a fine-tipped marker to trace them as outlines so you would have areas to color in. I designed various things that you can color to illustrate the verse. I wanted it to resemble an ancient illuminated manuscript.  I am thrilled with how it turned out, and I hope you find it useful.

COLOR THE PICTURE

You can color this picture in many different ways. If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby; coupons are usually available online.
  • The frame bars can be a bright color. The book can be a little brown or cream in color.
  • The bottle can be a combination of blues.
  • There are a lot of leaves and flowers to color.
  • The hearts can be pink or red; remember to do the background areas, too.
  • The letters are good in a dark color but not too dark.

I hope you create a masterpiece.

ABOUT MY ART

I love to draw these Bible verse printables because I love God's word. I hope you are blessed by them. Please print as many as you like.

I spent a whole day drawing this. I had to trace it several times and redo parts. Some of the artwork around the border is inspired by ancient illuminated manuscripts.

Coloring pages are perfect for both children and adults. It is a favorite verse of faith and hope. It is a great kids' craft or coloring page for adults to enjoy. It helps you memorize the scripture when you color the letters, and when it is done, this is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.

There are many things you can do to make this into a beautiful picture.
  • There is a scene at the bottom of a cross in a desert landscape that can be colored in many different ways.
  • There are flowers around the border that can be full of different colors.
  • The letters are opened up enough for you to color in.
I hope you have fun with it.

ABOUT MY ART
My art is hand-drawn. It is not generated by a bot or AI.

Even though it takes hours, I draw these coloring pages because I love God’s Holy Word, and I hope you are blessed by them. I create my Bible verse coloring printables for you for free.  Feel free to print as many as you can use.

I had to refine this a few times before I was happy with it.I used elements from some of my other coloring pages and combined them to make this interesting and to give you a lot of areas to be creative. I had to print the letters out, trace around them, and then scan them all back into the computer.

COLOR THE PICTURE

You can color this picture in many different ways. Try using a light tan or yellow on the background to create the appearance of parchment. It is easier to do the background first and then color the small letters on top. It is a perfect project for fine-tipped markers or pencils. If you print onto heavier stock, it can take a wetter medium.

Kids like to color this picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)
I hope it turns out beautifully for you.

MY ART

It can take me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I am glad to do it because I love God’s Blessed Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you. You are welcome to print as many of my coloring pages as you can use.

I tried to give it the look of an illustrated page from an old manuscript. A border with wheat stalks, apples, a farm, and two figures illustrate the verse. You can get very creative and have fun with the designs. I had to trace the different elements of the picture several times to get it right. It took a few hours.

COLOR THE PICTURE
There are many ways this picture can be colored to look beautiful.
  • There is a scene at the bottom that can be an opportunity for creativity.
  • There are fruits and stalks on the border that can be very colorful.
  • And the sunrise is at the top for bright colors.
  • The two figures can be very expressive to color too.
  • The letters can be any color, not just black, and the background behind the letters can be a warm, soft hue.

Kids enjoy coloring this picture with crayons, but using fine-tipped markers or colored pencils allows you to get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

A WORD ABOUT PRINTING

Most people do not have trouble printing these coloring pages, but if you need help printing, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print page.

COLOR THE PICTURE

If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. The letters are big enough to color in.
The border gives a lot of opportunity for creativity.
I suggest using brown or orange on the frame and a neutral color behind the flowers and vines.
There are many areas for green, so contrast it with some warmer colors like pink, orange-brown or red. I like to do the background behind the letters first with a slight tan or beige and then a dark blue or purple. Of course, you can color this any way you want.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will be able to get into the smaller areas.
