COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of ways that you can color this. Children like to color the picture with crayons, but use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, to get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in. The letters are big enough to fill in. There are flowers around the border. There are frame bars that can be colored in. Do not forget to color the background but not too dark.

ABOUT PRINTING

For help with printing, CLICK HERE to see the how-to-print page or try the updated link below that should print better.

THE ART
It can take me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I'm glad to do it because I love God’s Word, and I hope they bring you a blessing.

I used an artist's lightbox and traced parts of other coloring pages onto a page where I printed out the words.  Even though I took the shortcut in design by using previous elements, it still took me several hours to complete. I felt it was essential to include an image of the Bible somewhere, so I created a panel at the bottom and drew it by hand.  I had to scan it back into the computer and then clean things up using Microsoft paint. I added the straight lines with the computer.

COLOR THE PICTURE
There are many ways to color this. The letters are big enough to fill in. There are flowers around the border. There is an icon of a bible in the bottom right corner. There are frame bars that can be colored in. Don't forget to color the background, but make it a light shade.

Psalm 34:4 says,

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY PRINTABLES HERE?
I believe in God's Word, which is living and has the power to change lives. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believe he offers salvation free to all who come to him. Since my blog is seen worldwide, I have added a Spanish and Chinese-language printable so the Lord can use this ministry of art to the nations. Please pray that as others are exposed to God's word through coloring pages, the Holy Spirit will use the scripture to bring them to the Savior. Thank you.

COLOR THE PICTURE
There are many ways you can color this. The letters are big enough to fill in. There are flowers around the border. There are frame bars that can be colored in. Do not forget to color the background, but not too dark.

ABOUT THIS ART
I draw these Bible verse printables because I love God's word, and I hope that they are a blessing to you.

I tried to draw this with big happy flowers so you could color it cheerfully. I had to trace the flowers a few times to get the design right. I wanted the lettering to convey reverence and respect for the verse, so I used a tiny traditional font on the computer. It took several steps to make the letters that you can color in. I had to scan the art into the computer and cut and paste the words into the picture.  I was surprised that it became a complicated project, but it turned out well.  I hope you like it and can use it.

It helps to memorize the scripture as you color in the letters of the words in the verse. There is a lot to color as you meditate on God's word.

Blessings,

This printable coloring page is perfect for children and adults who want to explore a fantasy world where mermaids live. It has a picture of a ship that I drew originally to illustrate a poem in a book of mine. To make a coloring page out of my drawing I added a few points of interest like some finger rocks coming out of the ocean and two shy mermaids looking at the ship.

Try printing it and then tracing it onto watercolor paper to make a painting of this scene.
