This is a free 1 Samuel 3:9 Print and color page. A fun Bible verse coloring page for kids and adults too,

I would begin teaching my class by having all the kids quote this verse. It seemed that when they did, they would be more attentive and receptive. 

The verse is from 1 Samuel 3:9, which says, "So Eli told Samuel to go and lie down, and if he calls you to say, ' Speak Lord your servant is listening.' so Samuel went and lay down in his place." the coloring page is only part of the verse.

ABOUT MY ART

I was in the mood to play with the lettering calligraphy, so I added a few touches of flourish. It may challenge some of the kids who have issues with fine finger dexterity, but for the most part, the letters are open enough to color in.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

I had to trace the letters about 4 times before I was happy with how they looked. The clouds were easy but I still had to trace them twice. I could have done something with hearts but I thought that was being done a lot by others and so I wanted this coloring page to be special for the kids. If your kids like stickers use star stickers from the office supply store and let the kid stick shiny stars on the star shapes in the drawing.

There are a lot of things a young artist can do to have fun with this picture. The lettering is large to give ample room to fill in. The stars and clouds can be warm hues and the background blues, lavenders, and violets. There is a sun, and the sunbeams that can be yellow, orange, and red. Be Strong And Courageous, Joshua 1:9 Free Kid's Coloring Page.

Free Joshua 1:9 Print and color page. 

This verse says so much. It encourages us to be strong and to have courage, but it also gives us a reason to know we can be strong and courageous, and that reason is that the Lord is with us. It says not only the Lord but the Lord your God. This double reference is powerful. We can have no doubts about the outcome if He is with us. It teaches us that he is not just the God who is there somewhere, but he is right here. 

I drew this Bible verse coloring page for my Awana Club at church. It is a great Bible verse craft too.

Joshua 1:9 says:

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous... for the LORD your God will be with you. Joshua 1:9.

I had a lot of trouble drawing this, but it turned out very nicely. I had to trace the words but changed the letters a little to give you room to color.

The letters are large enough for the kids to color. The background is a representation of brick or stone-like in the wall, which is in part of the story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho.

One could color the stone and leave the letters white or use a different color for each stone in the wall. The young artist will get really involved in this one.
Parents and teachers will be able to use this in many ways.
