THE VERSE

This is a Bible verse of comfort and hope.  It tells us that though we give God reasons to be angry with us, He sees our sorrow and is willing to give us forgiveness and blessing. We may go through the night in grief because of our sins, but he is ready to forgive.  The poetry of this scripture is beautiful; it says that we can look forward to a time of rejoicing. The morning makes you think about a time of new beginning. 

Psalm 30:5 says,

"For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5.

THE ART

It can take me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I do it because I love God's Blessed Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you. 

I spent several hours drawing this. Even though I traced some parts from other coloring pages, I still had a lot of work to make it fresh and beautiful. After I scanned it into the computer, I spent about two more hours cleaning it up. 

COLOR IT

You can color this picture in many ways to make it look nice. 

• The letters can be colored in with colored pencils or fine-tipped markers.
• It has many ribbons, vines, and flowers around the border that can add color.  
• The praying hands in the bottom corner can be another place where you can be creative.  
• The frame bars can be bright contrasting colors,
• The background can be a soft hue.

A LITTLE ABOUT MY ART

I spent so much time designing and drawing this picture! I wanted to look like an ancient illustrated manuscript.  I traced and copied parts of other coloring pages and some features I had to use the computer to create and trace. I had a lot of decisions about the design of the words, at first the words to the verse did not all fit or had to be too small. I wanted the context of the passage from Titus while highlighting the key verse of the picture. The way I did it turned out very nicely.   

There as a lot of elements that you can color to make this into a beautiful picture.  If you use fine-tipped markers or pencils, it can look really nice. There are flowers around the border and vines at the top and bottom. There is an illustration of a dove and a cross scene. The backgrounds can be lighter contrasting hues.

 This kid's activity handout is #4 It is meant to be printed on both sides and can be folded in half like a program. It is full of scripture activities to engage kids quietly with spiritual content. It has five scripture activities.

• The back has a word search using the words from 1 John 4:20.
• Inside is a crossword puzzle using the words from 1 John 4:9

• With some printers, you can just highlight it and send it to your printer.

• Some printers work better if you first drag the image to your desktop and print from there.

ABOUT THIS ART

This picture took a long time to design and create. I wanted it to have a lot of interest and variety but still honor God's Word. I did a lot of tracing, printing things out, and tracing again until it was right. The letters were one of the things printed, traced, and scanned back into the computer. I cleaned everything up on the computer using Microsoft Draw. I hope you like it. 

There are a lot of places where you can add a splash of color. The flowers can be all kinds of colors. You can make the frame bars bright. The letters can be dark blue, and the background behind the letters can be tan or light brown, like parchment. I know you will have a wonderful time with it.
I hope you enjoy coloring this picture as much as I enjoyed drawing it.

MY ART

It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I am glad to create them for you because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you. 

I wanted to have the main verse as the center of the drawing and the context passage somewhere. It took a lot of work to get it to all come together. I traced and copied parts of other coloring pages and then scanned them into the computer where I assembled them and then spent a couple of hours cleaning it up. The words in the context passage were challenging to get in place, but it finally worked out. Because there were so many words, I wanted to keep the art a little simpler but still have a lot for you to color in. I think I hit a nice balance with the vines. I hope you like it.   

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many ways to color this picture to make it beautiful. Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)There are vines and flowers and a heart around the border. The letters are open, so you can color them in. You can color the background and the frame bars to give contrast.

This is one of those scripture passages we teach our children in Awanas or Good News clubs because it clearly puts together the different parts of the Gospel that Jesus is the sacrifice for our sins and arose from the tomb on the third day as the scripture foretold. There is no message more important than this for each of us.

ABOUT MY BIBLE ART

Even though it takes many hours, I draw these coloring pages because I love God's Blessed Word, and I hope they bless you. 

I traced this picture several times before I was happy with it. After I scanned it into the computer, I cleaned it up and used Microsoft Paint to draw straight lines. It took a few hours, but it turned out nicely. I hope you like it.

There are many ways a person can color this picture. 

The letters are open enough to color in.
Many flowers, vines, leaves, and hearts can be colored in different ways.
I hope you enjoy coloring this picture as much as I enjoyed drawing it.

I know you will have a wonderful time with it.
