MY ART

This took me so much time to draw that I lost track. I started after dinner and finished sometime after midnight. I printed out the words to the verse and then traced them on another sheet of paper. On another paper, I created the design of heat and flowers in pencil. I traced the design a few times and made changes each time until I was satisfied. After the design was worked out, I traced it onto the page with the words.  After all that, I scanned it into the computer and cleaned things up with Microsoft Paint. I am very pleased with how it turned out and hope you can find it useful.  

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are lots of things you can do to make this a beautiful picture.  It works well with fine-tipped markers or pencils. Create hearts in pink or red and offset them with green leaves.  Use a bright color for the frame bars. Use a pale color for the backgrounds.

THE VERSE

This print and color page below tells us to be faithful to the church. It says we need to keep meeting together because we need the church, and the church needs us. It reminds us that we are a community of the Body of Christ, the Church.  It teaches us that we must be diligent to encourage or exhort others to do good works. 

ABOUT THE ART

Like all of my coloring pages, I drew this one by tracing it over and over until I was satisfied with the appearance. I used the computer, printed the words, and then traced the words onto the page. The final step was to scan it back into the computer, clean things up, and add the straight lines using Microsoft Paint.  

It helps you to memorize the scripture when you color in the words to the verse. There is a lot to color as you meditate on God's word. There are a lot of ways that you can color this. The letters are big enough to fill in.

I am very happy with how this picture looks. I had to draw it several times and trace it over before I got it right. I couldn't get the letters right, so I had to use the computer to create them, but it is God's word, so I wanted to be respectful and give it my best. With all the work I put into it, it took a whole evening, but it turned out very nice. I hope you enjoy it.

I do not know how long it took for me to create this picture. I had to trace the flowers and ribbons several times before I was happy with them.   For the words to the verse, I had to create them on the computer and print them out.  Next, I drew the letters to the words scanned them into the computer.  I did a final clean-up using Microsoft paint. I am delighted with how it looks.

There are a lot of ways that you can color this.

There are a lot of tiny flowers that you can color brightly in the picture. 

The ribbons can be a contrasting color. 

The frame bars can be something else.  

The background can be a pale hue to give contrast. 

Kids like to color this picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in.

I spent hours drawing this. The border had to be traced several times. I had to use the computer to create the straight lines and the words to the verse. I had to print words and straight lines out on a page, trace the border and scene at the bottom onto it, and then scan it back into the computer, where I cleaned things up with Microsoft Paint. I hope you like it. 

There are a lot of fun ways this picture can be colored. The house and the water at the bottom make a good illustration; you can have fun coloring it. There are a lot of paisley designs around the border that can be any color.

THE ART

It can take me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I'm glad to do it because I love God’s Word, and I hope they bring you a blessing.

I used an artist's lightbox and traced parts of other coloring pages onto a page where I printed out the words.  Even though I took the shortcut in design by using previous elements, it still took me several hours to complete. I felt it was essential to include an image of the Bible somewhere, so I created a panel at the bottom and drew it by hand.  I had to scan it back into the computer and then clean things up using Microsoft paint. I added the straight lines with the computer. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many ways to color this. The letters are big enough to fill in. There are flowers around the border. There is an icon of a bible in the bottom right corner. There are frame bars that can be colored in. Don't forget to color the background, but make it a light shade.

ABOUT THIS ART

I tried to draw this with big happy flowers so you could color it cheerfully. I had to trace the flowers over a few times to get the design right. I wanted the lettering to give a sense of reverence and respect for the verse, so I used the computer and a tiny traditional font. It took several steps to make the letters that you can color in. I had to scan the art into the computer and cut and paste it to get the words into the picture.  I was surprised that it became a complicated project, but it turned out well.  I hope you like it and can use it.

I believe in God's Word, which is living and has the power to change lives. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believe he offers salvation free to all who come to him. Since my blog is seen worldwide, I have added a Spanish and Chinese language printable, so the Lord can use this ministry of art to the nations.
