I think it is a nice and simple picture that can be colored by any child or grown-up. It offers many opportunities for creativity The leaves can be green with yellow or blue. The raccoons are light and dark gray. The masks are ALMOST BLACK and there is white around the mask. The blossoms can be pink or any spring color.

ABOUT MY ART

I make these Bible verse coloring printables with you for free. They take a long time to create, but I am glad to do it for you. You may print as many as you can use. 

There are a lot of little things you to color in this picture. Children like to color the picture with crayons but if you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, to get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in. The heart is a great place for a splash of color. The flowers can be in lots of colors. You can use a different color for the frames. Try a light color in the background of the lettering.

ABOUT MY ART

It may not look like much, but I spent all evening creating this one. I printed the words out and then traced them into something you can color in. After drawing them, I scanned them back into the computer. I hand-drew some little illustrations but used the computer drawing program to make others. I used the computer cut-and-paste feature to arrange everything.  I am thrilled with the effect of this coloring picture and the message it gives.  

Coloring the letters in the letters to the words helps you to remember the verse. When it is done, the page is a reminder of God's Word. It makes an excellent Bible craft activity.

This is a fun picture to color. You can use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils to make it beautiful.  The letters are all in outline, so you can fill them in. There are a few little images in the picture to color.

This picture took me hours to design and draw. I tried to do several creative things with it. I hope you are happy with it. 

There are a lot of ways you can be creative with this picture. The sky scene at the top border can have sunset colors in the clouds. The flowers can be all kinds of colors. Some vines can be green. You might consider coloring the background a light peach or pink behind the flowers and vines. The letters are small, but they can still be colored in. I like to color the background behind the letters a tan or sandy color.

It helps you memorize the scripture when you color the letters, and when it is done, this is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.

Colossians 3:2 Print and Color Page, Set Your Mind On Things Above

This is a free Colossians 3:2 Printable coloring page.

Here is a scripture that is a command which we often do not consider. We are told to set our minds, or in other words, we are to have the place or the orientation of our thinking is to be in heaven. The things we think about and talk about should not be about this passing world but about the things of eternal value. 

The verse says,

 "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." Colossians 3:2.

I worked on this for two evenings trying to make it look good and different while still giving honor to the Word of God.  I did a lot of tracing of other things and putting stuff together one way and then another. I think the final product works nicely.

I am pleased to share another one of my printable coloring pages with you. This free printable coloring page is not just for kids. It was designed a little like an illuminated text from the Middle Ages, with decorations around the border that can be colored and open bubble letters that can be filled in. When you color the words to the verse, it helps you remember the scripture, and it helps if you are trying to memorize the passage. When you are done, the page reminds you of God's love. It is a great kids' crafts or coloring page for adults.

MY ART

Designing and drawing this coloring page took me a surprisingly long time. I draw most of my coloring pages by hand and use the computer only as a last step to clean things up. The border art had to be traced several times before I was happy with it. I wanted to have large areas for you to color and many different things to give it interest. I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of things you can do to make this into a beautiful picture.  Use fine-tipped markers or coloring pencils to get into the tight areas. 

• The hearts can be pink or red but consider using some lavender or purple color around an edge to give a shadow and the effect of being puffy. 
• Try a little white or yellow in a random area on the heart so it looks shiny. 
• The flowers can be many different colors. 
• Try to use more than one green hue on the leaves. 
• The frame bars can be a contrasting color and something different like blue.  
• The letters are opened up to color them in but try to use some color other than black.  
• The background can be a sandy or tan color like parchment behind the letters. 

You can use a different background for the border areas.  I hope you create a masterpiece!

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

Matthew 5:14-15 Print And Color Page, You Are The Light Of The World.

This is a free Matthew 5:14 print and color page.

This picture has one of the most challenging scriptures Jesus spoke. It is from the Sermon on the Mount. To be the light of the world is an extraordinary privilege and a heavy responsibility. How many people live up to the expectation to be the light. 

Matthew 5:14 says,

"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden,"  Matthew 5:14.

I worked on this picture for a long time. I had to print the letters and then trace them for the main section. I used the computer for the letters in words in the sidebar. I had to trace the flowers and decorations several times. I tried different arrangements but finally settled in the design.

There are a lot of ways you can color this picture. If you use color pencils or fine-tipped markers you can get in a lot of detail. The letters can be dark, I like to color the background around the letters before I color the letters.  The border has a lot of opportunity for color, there are vines to color green and hearts to color red or pink and flowers to color any way you want, and a candle that illustrates light.
