Free Print and Color Page for Lent Day 7, 1 Peter 5:6 Scripture

This is my print and color page for Lent, day 7, with 1 Peter 5:6 scripture.

I chose this scripture from 1 Peter because it teaches us the importance of humility and that God values it and rewards it. It also reminded us of the importance of waiting on His timing.

1 Peter 5:6 says,

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.1 Peter 5:6.

PRINTING PROBLEMS

Sometimes, people have problems printing these pictures. If you need help with printing, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print page. You can also try the updated link below, which should print better.

SOME SUGGESTIONS ABOUT COLORING

I spent a couple of hours drawing and tracing the artwork for this coloring page. Even though the words of forgiveness from Christ on the cross are inspiring, celebrating death is still a little morbid. But the death of Jesus is worthy of celebration, which churches do in communion. For this reason, I wanted a lot of flowers to make the coloring page bright and happy.

Kids like to color this picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

There are many ways to color this.
The letters are big enough to fill in.
Around the border, there are flowers, vines, and hearts to color.
Frame bars can be colored in.
The cross can be brown or grey.
Do not forget to color the background, but not too dark.

Blessings, and Thank You
