ABOUT ISSUE 168

Issue 168 has many exciting activities for all ages.
I think this is a terrific issue. It is full of activities that will cause your children to engage with God’s Word in a fun way.

There are a lot of different scriptures within this issue. I think a few are rarely taught to adults, let alone children. Some are favorites for all of us, like Proverbs 3:5-6, which I used for a word search, and Genesis 1:1, which is used in the hidden letter puzzle. A Gospel scripture is used for a coloring page, 1 Johan 5:12 (found in the free version). There are some lesser-known verses like Isaiah 45:5-6 in the code breaker (in the free version) and Psalm 73:25-26, which is used in the shape sort puzzle (in the free version). There is a passage to read from Luke, the parable of the tax collector and the Pharisee. It is illustrated by the find the difference activity. By the way, I traced the two pictures the find the difference puzzle about eight times before I was happy with it!

Ther are all the usual items like this read the Bible everyday bookmark craft with passages and questions for this week. There is the make a bible verse memory trading card craft.

I hope the connect-the-dots activity is not too much. It is a crown for the James 1:12 verse.
The memory verse continues the series for John 1.

The most important part of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is the discussion questions. Most of the activities have open-ended discussion questions. I pray that parents and teachers will be able to engage the kids in spiritual talks as they do the puzzles and activities.

Free Print and Color Page For John 3:30, "Jesus Must Become More Important..." Bible Verse

I am glad to share my John 3:30 print and coloring page.

John 3:30 is a challenging verse and a basic truth of the Christian life. It is well to learn early on in your walk of faith that our life of faith is about Jesus and not our experiences, goals, or tasks. Our lives should see an increase of Jesus and a diminishing of ourselves. We still have unique personalities and identities, but our purposes, ambitions, and motivations are about Jesus and not our interests.

You do not have to make a donation to download my coloring pages. However, if you'd like to, the donate button is located below the picture. Thank you for your gifts, prayers, memberships, and donations. I would not be able to create these without your support.

👉CLICK HERE to subscribe to my coloring pages; you will receive a new one every week.

John 3:30 says, "Jesus must become more important, while I become less important.." John 3:30. I used a modern translation since it was intended for the kids, and I didn't want a lot of hard "church words" that they did not understand.

ABOUT MY ART

I draw coloring pages because I love God's word, and I hope they bless you. I am more than glad to do it for you. I share them for free; you may print as many as you can.

The art for this came from one of the children's activity mini-magazines I make each week for the church. It turned out well, so I made it into a coloring page.

ABOUT ISSUE 167

Issue 167 has 18 exciting activities for all ages.

I am happy with how everything in this issue turned out. I am thrilled with the code-breaker activity (in the subscriber's version). It has lots of words and clues, so anyone should be able to solve it.

The word search puzzles are as perfect as I can get them.

The coloring pictures offer a lot of variety. The Psalm 107:9 coloring activity is suitable for elementary students and younger artists. The 2 Corinthians 12:9 (in the subscriber's version) and 1 Corinthians 16:14 have smaller areas that will be fun for older artists. The 1 Corinthians 16:14 coloring picture I drew a few years ago for the kids in church, and I put on my blog as a full-sized coloring picture.

I am happy with the connect-the-dots activity. It is a simple barn for the parable of the foolish wealthy man from Luke 12. I had to draw it a few times and use the computer a lot to get it right.

The find-the-difference activity always takes a long time, and this was the case. It is the five sparrows from Jesus' words in Luke 12:6-7. The find the difference activity is in the subscriber's version.

The memory verse continues the series for John 1

Almost all activities have an open-ended discussion question so you can have meaningful discussions as you do the activities with your children.

Every week I spend countless hours making these Bible activity booklets, but I make them because I love God's Word. I sincerely hope they are a blessing to you.

They are free, and you are welcome to print as many as you like.

ABOUT ISSUE 166

This issue has 19 fun activities.

One of my favorite activities is the code-breaker (in the subscriber's version) for Psalm 119:9. Since it is a short verse, I gave five clues to help. I used shapes, arrows, and symbols to create the code.

I am happy with the connect-the-dots activity for the verse from Joel 2:24-25. I had to sketch it a few times, and then use the computer to generate the numbers and get the dots in position.

The find the difference activity (in the subscriber's version) took a few hours to create. Matthew calls it his calling while he sits at the tax collector's table.

I ran out of ideas for the coloring pictures, so I used one from my blog of coloring pages, The coloring picture of Luke 1:37, which in the King James Version says, "For with God nothing shall be impossible." You can see the original letter-sized printable at Luke coloring page

The memory verse starts a new series for John 1.

Remember to return weekly to get the latest issue for your ministry and church.

Almost all activities have an open-ended discussion question so you can have meaningful discussions as you do the activities with your children.

Issue 165 has 19 exciting puzzles and activities in the subscriber's version, and the free version has 14 activities. Each is inspired by a Bible verse. Children will be reflectively exposed to God’s word as they do the activities.

One of my favorite activities is following the dots. It may look like a mess until you do it, but then it appears beautiful. The verse illustrated is the 'lilies of the field' passage from Matthew 6:28-30.

I had a lot of fun drawing the 'Find the Differences' activity for Matthew 7:24-26, which is about the man who built his house on the rock, found in the subscriber's version. I had to trace the picture many times and then finish it on the computer before I was happy with it.

The first coloring picture is from Mark 1:35, and the art is more adult, with many small areas. It would look beautiful done in pencils. One of the other pictures is ideal for younger artists and has large, open letters to fill in.

The code breaker in the subscriber's version is so easy, I didn’t give any clues this week. (Beware! Spoiler alert! >>> Hint- it is a slip code where all the letters slip up a position in the alphabet.)

Both word search puzzles were a considerable amount of work, but I am glad they turned out well and that I was able to cram so many words from the verses into them.

The memory verse craft finishes the 1 Corinthians 13 series. If you made the cards, you could use them to memorize and review the chapter. If you missed any, you can use the search box in the sidebar to find and print past issues.

Almost all activities have an open-ended discussion question so you can have meaningful discussions as you do the activities with your children.

ABOUT MY ART

The art for this came from one of the weekly children's activity mini-magazines I make for the church. It turned out well, so I made it into a coloring page.

COLOR THE PICTURE

This picture can be beautiful when you color it.
Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils to get into the more delicate areas.
My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor pencils because they are brilliant and blend well. You can find them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby stores. You can usually find coupons for good discounts.
Some flowers can be pink or red; others can be blue and lavender.
Use more than one hue of green for the vines and leaves.
The frame bars can be a contrasting color.
The background can be something pale. Using tan or light brown will make it look like parchment as if it were an ancient manuscript.
The letters can be colored in; I like to use something besides black for the words.

ABOUT ISSUE 164

Issue 164 has 18 exciting puzzles and activities. Each is inspired by a Bible verse. Children will be reflectively exposed to God’s word as they do the activities.

It is challenging to come up with eight pages of activities each week. This week I used resources from my coloring pictures blog and an example from my how to draw blog to fill in a few areas. The dot to dot of the fox for the “foxes have holes and birds have nests” scripture was an illustration from my how-to-draw lessons a few years ago.

I am thrilled with the sheep in the find the difference in the pictures for the “We are the people of his pasture” activity. (It is the subscriber's version).

I redid the word puzzles several times before the clues and intended answers lined up correctly.

I wrote open-ended discussion questions for almost every activity, so you may have a starting point to engage the kids in spiritual talks.

I spend countless hours creating these Bible activity booklets, but I do so because I love God's Word. I sincerely hope they bring you a blessing.

ABOUT ISSUE 163

Issue 163 has 18 engaging puzzles and activities that are scripture-focused.

I rejoiced when a friend told me that in her church, someone sends these in the mail each week to the kids who missed attending church. I am thrilled that the Lord is using these mini-magazines to strengthen relationships in the church.

I am delighted with the connect-the-dots of the dove from Genesis 8.

There are two coloring pages for older children (or their parents) and one for younger children.

I am very pleased with how the John 8:36 coloring page turned out. It is simple but dramatic.

I redid the word searches several times, and the crossword puzzle required a lot of fine-tuning, but the effort was worth it.

Almost every activity includes an open-ended discussion question to provide a starting point for engaging the kids in spiritual conversations.

Free Printable Children's Bible Verse Activity Mini-Magazine, Issue 162

Here is issue 162 of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY.

SCROLL DOWN TO ACCESS THE FREE PDF.👇👇👇

ABOUT ISSUE 162

Issue 162 has 17 engaging puzzles and activities, including dot-to-dot, word search, code breaker, maze, scrambler, and more (the free version has 13).

I think my favorite is the portrait of Esther for the find the difference activity (in the subscriber's version). The dot-to-dot of the Bible time boats on the beach took hours to get right.

Two of the pictures to color have a lot of small areas and will be perfect for older kids with pencils. The third one for Psalm 100:1 is for the younger kids. The subscriber's version has all three coloring pictures the free version has two.

I cast a wide net to find scriptures for these mini-magazines. Sometimes the choice is about what will fit in a puzzle or activity. It always amazes me how each issue comes together. There are a few gospel verses like john 10:10-11, Luke 19:10, and Hebrews 9:28.

Almost all the activities have an open-ended discussion question so that you can jump from the activity to engage the child in a teaching opportunity.

ABOUT ISSUE 161

Issue 161 is a fun-packed issue featuring 19 puzzles and activities (in the subscriber's version, the free version includes 14). These activities range from dot-to-dot and word search to code breaker, maze, scrambler, and more. It was a lot of work and took all my free time, but I am glad to do it for you. I hope you are as delighted to use this as I was to create it for you.

I am thrilled with the drawing of Abram for the find the difference activity. (in the subscriber's version) The dot-to-dot of the widow putting her two copper coins in the temple box was fun to design and draw.

There are three pictures to color (two in the free version and three in the subscriber's version); each is a different style, so there's something for everyone.

Almost all activities include an open-ended discussion question, allowing you to transition smoothly from the activity to engage the child in a teaching opportunity.

Blessings and Thank You,
