ABOUT PRINTING THE PICTURE

If you have trouble printing, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print page, where I have put some suggestions that may help with printing. Or you can try the updated PDF link.

ABOUT THE VERSE
This Bible verse coloring page from the book of James has challenged believers for generations to be accountable to all of God's commands. It says, in short, that no one of us can keep all of God's laws. It is a good verse to use when discussing sin with someone who is unclear about whether they are guilty of sin and in need of God's forgiveness.

This is an Awana verse for the Sparks Club.

It helps me to memorize the scripture when I color in words to the verse.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many ways to color the flowers, as there are a variety of different shapes. If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, such as my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Blessings, and Thank You.

A WORD ABOUT PRINTING
For help with printing, CLICK HERE to see the How-to-print page for some suggestions or try the updated link below that should print better.

This Bible verse helps us to understand the reason Christ came.  It tells us that he came with a purpose.  We see in it Christ is for the needy and sinners.  He came to call or invite us to come to him and know Him.  It s a verse of invitation that anyone can answer.

MY ART

I put a lot of work into the design. I traced it over for hours. I wanted it to be exciting. I did a lot of different things to make it look good. The letters to the words were created with the help of the computer, and then after the other artwork was scanned into the computer, I used to cut and paste to put it all together. It is one of my favorite coloring pages. I hope you like it and are blessed by it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

Children like to color the picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)
The letters are big enough to color in.

Blessings, And Thank You.

Issue 12 Kid's Bible Fun Time Printable Handout

I am happy with how the crossword puzzle turned out, my goal is to use as many words as possible from the verse to engage kids in the verse but I also want it to look like a puzzle and fit the page. I managed to use all the major words even if the puzzle stretched down the page a little.

Issue 12 of Kid's Bible Fun Time has scriptures for all levels and ages. I know God is going to use this issue in young hearts.

I really focused on making the word search effective and fun. I tried to make the secret code/cipher section easier.

I think it gets better each week even if some of the little art pieces are being reused but there is always one or two new ones.

This printable Bible Fun Time is full of exciting scriptures.
• The coloring picture is of Romans 8:31, a verse of encouragement and comfort.
• The word search uses 1 Peter 2:9, a verse that tells about our salvation.
• The crossword is James 4:6-7, a lifestyle verse about humbly coming to God
• The Mini Bible Study is from Acts 4:2, it tells that only Jesus can save.
• The scrambler is John 13:35, a verse about loving one another.

I am excited when I think about how God is using this little project.

A LITTLE ABOUT PRINTING

If you have problems printing, CLICK HERE to visit my HOW TO PRINT page, where I have gathered some tips that may help you. You can try the updated link below that should print better.

MY ART

This took me hours to create. I used parts of other designs and combined them into this picture using an artist's lightbox and a fine-tipped artist's pen. I tried to find a font for the reverent words and still had space to color in. It takes several steps to use the computer to make letters like this. I had to do a lot of cut-and-paste and then a lot of cleaning up with the computer.  It took a lot of time, but I am delighted with how it turned out.

COLOR THE PICTURE

It helps you to memorize the scripture when you color in words to the verse. If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, then you can get into the smaller areas.
There is a lot to color as you meditate on God's word.
There are a lot of vines, flowers, and ribbons on the border to color in.

It has scriptures for all levels and ages. If there is any theme it would be that God’s Word is fun, so I have chosen scriptures that are meaningful by themselves and may not be closely related to one another. Just the same, I am happy with how this one turned out. I know God's going to use this issue in young hearts.

I kept coming back to the word search to make it effective and fun. I tried to make the secret code/cipher section easier.

I think it gets better each week. I continue to add more and more original artwork to each section.

I spent an extra evening editing and checking my work to be sure that there are no mistakes. This took extra hours but is worth it since the results are superior.

It is full of exciting scriptures.
• The coloring picture is from Psalm 9:1,” I will praise you lord with all my heart,” a verse of worship and devotion.
• The word search is from Galatians 5:22_23. The great fruit of the spirit verse.  I think it is a good challenge for discipleship and reinforces salvation by faith.
• The crossword puzzle takes Romans 12:2, a Great verse about living for the Lord.
• The Mini Bible Study is about Ephesians 2:10, it is a discipleship verse that calls us to do good works.
• The scrambler is Isaiah 55:8, a great verse about the revelation of God in our lives.

Here is an idea, if you fold the printable into quarters it will fit in an invitation envelope and then you can mail it to the many people who miss class.

This is a wonderful scripture about the person of Christ being the Word of God. It is like the introduction to the Gospel of John. We see that Christ is the expression of God.

John 1:1-2 says,

In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning.  John 1:1-2.

ABOUT PRINTING THE FREE PICTURE ABOVE

The image above is a JPEG I created in Word for the drawing, so it should be printed without trouble. Sometimes, people have problems like the size needs to be bigger or it won't center on their page. If you need help with any of that, then  "CLICK HERE " to visit my how-to-print page for some suggestions that may help you.

    HAVE FUN COLORING THE PICTURE

There are many things you can do to make this into a beautiful picture. There are many small areas and tight spaces, so you might want to use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils. I like Prismacolor pencils because they allow for detailed work in smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby; look for coupons for these stores online. I made the letters big so you can color them.   The border is full of flowers, leaves, and paisley shoes that can be colored in many ways. The background can contrast, and the frame bars can be bright.

    THIS IS MY ORIGINAL ART

This art was not "generated" by AI or a bot. I spent a few hours drawing this picture. I had to trace it often using my artist's lightbox before being satisfied with it. I used a simple fine-tipped Sharpie. I had to incorporate elements from other coloring pages I have created in the past and add to them, so this picture is unique. I do not think there is anything like it. After I scanned it into the computer, I added the letters and the straight lines.

I hope you create a beautiful picture!

    Blessings, and thank you.

I have worked on this Bible Fun Time Printable for a few weeks, and I am very happy with how it has turned out.

It has scriptures for all levels and ages. I am very pleased with how this one turned out. And It is exciting to imagine how God is going to use this issue to put the seed of His Word in tender hearts.

I struggled with the overall appearance, I wanted it to have more appeal and ended up repurposing some of my illustrations from my coloring blog and drawing a couple of new icons to fill some of the spaces.

I spent an extra evening editing and checking my work to be sure that there are no mistakes. This took extra hours but is worth it since the results are superior.

It is full of exciting scriptures.
The coloring picture is Psalm 100:1, I chose it for the example of worship and the spirit of celebration it gives to this week’s printable.
The word search is from Romans 1:16, I think it is a good challenge for discipleship and reinforces salvation by faith.
The crossword puzzle takes Joshua 1:9 for the “Word Bank,” it is a verse of comfort and inspiration.
The Mini Bible Study is about Ephesians 2:10. It is a discipleship verse that calls us to do good works.
The scrambler is Proverbs 9:10. I chose this because we do not emphasize the reverential fear of God anymore but focus on other attributes instead.

Here is an idea, if you have finished Bible Camp or Vacation Bible School and want to have some way to keep the connection with attendees send them a copy of these Kids Bible Fun Time pages each week. It will keep your community in their thinking and be a reminder of what you offer them.
