This took a surprisingly long time to draw. I traced a lot of parts from other coloring pages and traced the letters. There was a little cut and paste in the corner with the heart, the flower, and the cross in the bottom corner.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of little ways this can be colored in. The letters can be a dark color on a lighter background color. There are flowers and vines to color and a few hearts.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

I am delighted to share this free Isaiah 55:8 Coloring page.

This verse says that God is not like us, and His ways are not like ours. It is a great verse of faith, and it is also very logical. If God's ways were like ours, he would be no better than us, but because He is holy, there is no way he could be like sinful humanity.

I like drawing Bible verse coloring pages because I love God's Word, and I hope you are blessed by them. You are welcome to print as many as you can use.

COLOR THE PICTURE

You can color this picture in many different ways. If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you can get into the tight spaces of the letters. The letters can be dark; I like to color the background around the letters before I color the letters.  The border has a lot of opportunities for color.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

There are a lot of fun ways that this can be colored in. Use a light cream or tan for the background behind the letters before you color in the letters, and it will look like ancient parchment. The frame can be a bright color for contrast. There are lots of flowers to do in violet, blue or lavender. The leaves can be different greens. The hearts among the flowers can be red, but I suggest the big hearts be pink or else there will be too much red.

For help with printing the image below, CLICK HERE to visit my "HOW TO PRINT" page or try the updated PDF link below that should print better.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are opportunities to be creative.
The borders can be a bright color.
The flowers can add more color. The letters look good if they are dark, but I do not recommend black; use dark blue, dark brown, or violet.
There is a passage in fine letters on the left that can be colored differently from the main verse; you might need your reading glasses since they are so small.
The background behind the letters could be lightly colored with a tan or light pastel color.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)
