Issue 11 Bible Fun Time Printable

It has scriptures for all levels and ages. If there is any theme it would be that God’s Word is fun, so I have chosen scriptures that are meaningful by themselves and may not be closely related to one another. Just the same, I am happy with how this one turned out. I know God's going to use this issue in young hearts.

I kept coming back to the word search to make it effective and fun. I tried to make the secret code/cipher section easier.

I think it gets better each week. I continue to add more and more original artwork to each section.

I spent an extra evening editing and checking my work to be sure that there are no mistakes. This took extra hours but is worth it since the results are superior.

It is full of exciting scriptures.
• The coloring picture is from Psalm 9:1,” I will praise you lord with all my heart,” a verse of worship and devotion.
• The word search is from Galatians 5:22_23. The great fruit of the spirit verse.  I think it is a good challenge for discipleship and reinforces salvation by faith.
• The crossword puzzle takes Romans 12:2, a Great verse about living for the Lord.
• The Mini Bible Study is about Ephesians 2:10, it is a discipleship verse that calls us to do good works.
• The scrambler is Isaiah 55:8, a great verse about the revelation of God in our lives.

Here is an idea, if you fold the printable into quarters it will fit in an invitation envelope and then you can mail it to the many people who miss class.

John 1:1-2 Print and Color Page With, "In the beginning was the Word," Bible verse

I am glad to share the coloring page I created for the kids in our church, Awanas Bible Club. We have craft time, and the coloring pages help give the kids something to do during craft time and when they are waiting to recite their Bible verses to the club leaders.

You do not have to make a donation to download my coloring pages. But if you want to the donate button is below the picture.

This is a wonderful scripture about the person of Christ being the Word of God. It is like the introduction to the Gospel of John. We see that Christ is the expression of God.

John 1:1-2 says,

In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning.  John 1:1-2.

In The Beginning, Was the Word,

It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I am delighted to do so because I love God's Word. I hope they are a blessing to you. They are free, so please print as many as you like. Use the PayPal button if you want to make a donation.

Some printers work better with a PDF, so try the link below if you need help.

ABOUT PRINTING THE FREE PICTURE ABOVE

The image above is a JPEG I created in Word for the drawing, so it should be printed without trouble. Sometimes, people have problems like the size needs to be bigger or it won't center on their page. If you need help with any of that, then  "CLICK HERE " to visit my how-to-print page for some suggestions that may help you.

    HAVE FUN COLORING THE PICTURE

There are many things you can do to make this into a beautiful picture. There are many small areas and tight spaces, so you might want to use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils. I like Prismacolor pencils because they allow for detailed work in smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby; look for coupons for these stores online. I made the letters big so you can color them.   The border is full of flowers, leaves, and paisley shoes that can be colored in many ways. The background can contrast, and the frame bars can be bright.

    THIS IS MY ORIGINAL ART

This art was not "generated" by AI or a bot. I spent a few hours drawing this picture. I had to trace it often using my artist's lightbox before being satisfied with it. I used a simple fine-tipped Sharpie. I had to incorporate elements from other coloring pages I have created in the past and add to them, so this picture is unique. I do not think there is anything like it. After I scanned it into the computer, I added the letters and the straight lines.

I hope you create a beautiful picture!

    Blessings, and thank you.

I have worked on this Bible Fun Time Printable for a few weeks, and I am very happy with how it has turned out.

It has scriptures for all levels and ages. I am very pleased with how this one turned out. And It is exciting to imagine how God is going to use this issue to put the seed of His Word in tender hearts.

I struggled with the overall appearance, I wanted it to have more appeal and ended up repurposing some of my illustrations from my coloring blog and drawing a couple of new icons to fill some of the spaces.

I spent an extra evening editing and checking my work to be sure that there are no mistakes. This took extra hours but is worth it since the results are superior.

It is full of exciting scriptures.
The coloring picture is Psalm 100:1, I chose it for the example of worship and the spirit of celebration it gives to this week’s printable.
The word search is from Romans 1:16, I think it is a good challenge for discipleship and reinforces salvation by faith.
The crossword puzzle takes Joshua 1:9 for the “Word Bank,” it is a verse of comfort and inspiration.
The Mini Bible Study is about Ephesians 2:10. It is a discipleship verse that calls us to do good works.
The scrambler is Proverbs 9:10. I chose this because we do not emphasize the reverential fear of God anymore but focus on other attributes instead.

Here is an idea, if you have finished Bible Camp or Vacation Bible School and want to have some way to keep the connection with attendees send them a copy of these Kids Bible Fun Time pages each week. It will keep your community in their thinking and be a reminder of what you offer them.

As usual, I am including a PDF, a Word doc, and both pages in JPEG format so no matter what system or printer you are using you should be able to get a good print.

    MY ART
I spent a whole evening creating this picture for you.  I designed the border art and used a lightbox and a Sharpie marker to trace it over several times to get it right. I used the computer to create the words and printed them out on a page where I traced the border design.  After scanning it all back into the computer, I used Microsoft Paint and cleaned things up, and added the straight lines. It was a lot of work, but I am happy with how it turned out. I hope you can use it.

    COLOR THE PICTURE

This can be a beautiful picture when you color it. If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, then you can get into the smaller areas. The letters are big enough to color in. There are many ways to enhance the designs as you color this picture to create a beautiful masterpiece.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

Bible Fun Time Printable Issue Number 9

I am glad to share issue 9 of Bible Fun Times printable handout for kids.

I make these Bible activity printables for my friends and my church every week. And I also send them to people who support my blog as a thank you for their support.  I spent a lot of time selecting the scriptures and finding clear translations so young minds will not be confused.

This handout is for those who want their kids to really engage in God's Word in a potentially life-changing way, not just color another picture of Noah or Daniel.

    POWERFUL SCRIPTURES

The coloring picture is John 10:11, "I am the good shepherd who lays down his life for the sheep." I choose this because it brings kids to see that Jesus is not just the baby in a manger.
The word search uses Mark 10:31. This verse is an invitation to sell all and follow Jesus. It is a strong verse about choosing to follow Jesus.
The "Word Bank " for the crossword puzzle is Proverbs 3: 5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart ..."  As youth do the puzzle and look at the verse for the answer to the clues they will be exposed to faith as a practical lifestyle.
The mini-Bible study is Matthew 22:37-39, The Greatest commandment verse. As the children do the activities, they will be thinking about the meaning of loving God.
The scrambler is Romans 5:8. It is another Gospel verse that reaffirms God's love and his acceptance of us "even while we were still sinners."

    MY ART AND CRAFT

I spent one evening after work designing and drawing the coloring page. It took almost three evenings to get the Bible verse crossword puzzle just right. I know some websites will generate crossword puzzles, but they do not have a real puzzle look since they tend to join many words by the first letter. The rest of the printable took another two nights, but I've been refining it many times in the last few weeks.

This week's Bible Fun Pages have a few extra little things to color: a crown, a heart, and a scroll.

    HERE IS AN IDEA

After VBS, Vacation Bible School, or Church Camp, follow up by mailing copies of these Bible Fun Pages to those who attended. It will remind them of the fun week they had in camp and inspire them to return to other programs you may offer.

So Eli told Samuel, "Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, 'Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.'" So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" Then Samuel said, "Speak, for your servant is listening. Samuel 3:9-10

    ABOUT MY ART

I spent hours and hours creating this coloring page. I sketched parts of it out, printed out the words, and then traced them onto the picture. I used a tracing box and traced everything together. I hope you like it.

    COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many ways to color this. If you use colored pencils, I prefer Prismacolor pencils because of their brilliance and ability to blend. Or you can use fine-tipped markers, which allow you to get into the tight areas.
    • The letters are big enough to fill in, and there are lots of leaves to color green.
    • The paisley shapes can be any color.
    • The frame bars can be a contrasting color.
    • You can use something bright like pink or red for the flowers.
    • I like to balance everything with a dull background to offset the brightness of the colors.

Here is a free printable coloring page with Proverbs 16:1, "The plans of the heart belong to man," Bible Verses.

This print and color page below is a familiar verse of the scripture. It reminds us that God is in control of our lives. It is also a warning that He is in control. I think the point is to keep God in your plans from the beginning.

It helps you memorize the scripture when you color in the letters to the words of the verse. There is a lot to color as you meditate on God's word.
