Coloring the letters helps you memorize them, and when it's done, this becomes a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teachings.

You can color this picture in many different ways.
Try using a little tan or yellow on the background so it looks like parchment but fades to blue for the landscape.
It is easier to do the background and color the small letters on top.
It is a perfect project for fine-tipped markers or pencils.
If you print onto a heavier stock, it can take a wetter medium.

Printable Coloring Page, Robin in a Tree

This is a printable picture to color of a nice robin bird in a tree.

I drew it for an art lesson for how to paint in watercolor but I thought it would be a nice one for the little artist to color in. It is very simple in design so the younger artist will not be too challenged by it.

Parents and teachers can use this in the home or school.
It can be used in the waiting room,
Or any place where little hands are happier if they are entertained.
It can be taken along as a vacation time activity in the car or on a plane ride.

The robin is famous for its orange-red chest. The back, wings, and tail are a dark gray, the head is black with a white ring around the eye.
If you have problems printing see the "HOW TO PRINT" tab above or try one of the updated links below that should print better.

COLOR THE PICTURE

When you color the letters in, it helps you memorize them, and when it is done, this is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.
There are many ways it can be colored.
I would suggest using red in the project, such as in the frame, and incorporating different colors into the decorations.
It looks better if you color in the background with a light tan or another warm color before doing the letters.
The letters are small, and it would be good to use a fine-tipped marker or coloring pencils.

Kids like to color with crayons, but if you try colored pencils, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

ABOUT THE ART
It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I draw them because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

This picture took a long time to design and draw; I spent the entire evening on it. I had to practice the oak leaves and paisley patterns several times and then trace them over a few more times. The letters were printed from my computer and then traced into the picture.  I am happy with the effect. The little tower was a huge project inside this project; I traced the tower several times to look nice, but seeing how nice it turned out, I am glad I did it. I printed the letters out and then traced around them, and then traced the border around the words. I like to create these coloring pages because I love God's word; I hope they are a blessing.

COLOR THE PICTURE

When you color the words in the verse, it helps you memorize them, and when it is done, this is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.

Printable Coloring page, New Creation Bible verse. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

This is a free printable coloring page for 2 Corinthians 5:17.

This printable coloring page is perfect for children and adults, too. It is a favorite verse from the New Testament. It has been an encouragement to the young in the faith and is one of my personal favorites.  It tells us that when we come to Christ, it is more than just turning over a new leaf. It is becoming something new; it is like a new creation. We don't just change from the old ways because the old ways are passed away, which means the old ways are dead, so don't go back to the old ways.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says,

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. " 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Printable Joshua 1:8 Coloring Page, This book of the law shall not depart.

This is a free Joshua 1:8 Printable Bible Verse Coloring Page.

It is a favorite verse from the Old Testament book of Joshua. It is a commandment, not like the Ten Commandments, but it is a command in the Bible, and we must obey it. It teaches us we need to know God's Word so we can obey it. We have to be careful and diligent in obeying His Word. When you are careful about something, you pay close attention to it and ensure you get all the details right. This verse teaches us to obey ALL of God's Word, not just the popular ones. As much as this verse is a command, it is also a promise that we will be blessed and prosperous if we obey the scripture.

Joshua 1:8 says,

"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. "Joshua 1:8.

ABOUT MY ART
I spend hours creating coloring pages like this; I do it because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

I tried to create unique lettering for this verse so that you had space to color the words in. I wanted to give it a nice border with many areas that can be colored. I had to trace it several times. I drew the lines by tracing other straight lines. I wanted it to look hand-drawn. I couldn't do more with the border because the verse has many words.  I drew an open Bible at the bottom to illustrate that the scripture is about opening up God's Word.

When you color the letters in, it helps you memorize the words, and when it is finished, you have a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.

ABOUT THE ART
I had to draw this more than once to get it right, and a few parts I traced several times. I wanted to give it a full border with lots of flowers you can color and some vines twisting around. The letters were complicated. I printed the verse, traced the letters, and as I traced, I added a few little curls to give them character. Then I traced the border on the page. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in. If you will color the background around the lettering, I suggest you do that first and then color the letters after. The flowers can be any color, but sometimes they look good when left white and let the color around them shine. Try using more than one green on the leaves adjoining the flowers, which are bigger and shaped differently, so you can make them one hue of green and the smaller leaves a different hue. The bordering frames can be a contrasting color to the rest of the design.

Printable Coloring Page of a Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly.

This is a printable picture to color of a nice butterfly on a daisy.

I drew it for an art lesson for how to paint in watercolor but I thought it would be a nice one for the little artist to color in. It is very simple in design so the younger artist will not be too challenged by it.

Parents and teachers can use this in the home or school.  It can be used in the waiting room or any place where little hands are happier if they are entertained.

The tiger swallowtail butterfly is mostly yellow with some black markings.

HOW TO PRINT THE FREE COLORING PAGE BELOW

Guard Of Your Heart Printable Coloring Page.

Guards around a heart coloring page.

This is a picture I drew to illustrate a blog post about guarding your heart against sin so you can serve God. When I was done I thought it would make a nice coloring page for some romantic person. I moved the image low on the page to give room for you to write a special message.

You can use this in for a wedding anniversary, valentine's day, or a declaration that you will guard the heart of the one you love. It could be downloaded and used in a PowerPoint.

It can be taken along as a vacation time activity in the car or on a plane ride.

COLOR THE PICTURE
There are a lot of ways this picture can be colored. The armor can be colored in different colors. You could add a picture in the heart or just make it pink or red. I would use cool colors for the armor and warm colors for the background and heart. Or you could make the background very dark and the armor remaining white for the knight in shining armor theme.

Proverbs 1:7, The Fear Of The Lord, Printable Coloring Page

This is a free Proverbs 1:7 Printable Coloring Page.

This is a printable picture to color a popular verse of scripture from the book of Proverbs. It teaches us that wisdom begins with a healthy respect for who God is. Some translations of the Bible use other words like respect instead of fear. But God is awesome and great, so there is a logical reason to have a holy fear of Him.

The picture is a little like an illuminated text but not overdone, or else you would not be able to color it in. It is a great kids' craft or coloring page for adults to enjoy too.

Adults may like to color this too. Coloring in the scripture helps you memorize it, and when it is displayed, it is a reminder of God's Word.

Proverbs 1:7 says,

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7.

THE ART
I spent a long time drawing this coloring page, and I had to trace parts of it several times. I printed the words and then traced them onto the picture but changed them to look more like something you might see on an ancient illuminated page. I finished it on the computer to clean things up and add the straight lines of the frame bars. I like the way it turned out, and I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE
There are a lot of things that you can do to make this coloring page beautiful. Children like to color the picture with crayons but if you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, to get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters can be colored in different colors. The border can be multiple colors, with one color for the frame and a contrasting color for the oak leaves.  I like to do a little shading in the background, so it looks like parchment before I do the letters. There are Paisley designs around the border that can be a colorful combination of colors. The frame bars can be a secondary color. You can color the words with a fine-tipped marker or a colored pencil.

Blessings, and Thank You.

MY ART

It can take me hours to design and draw these coloring pages for you, but I am happy to do it because I love God's word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

It took me hours to design and draw this. I had to print the word out and trace it as outlines so you would have areas to fill in. I hope you like it and can use it. I had to draw the picture of the man carrying the cross several times and trace it over a few more to get him to look right. I hope you like this picture and that you can use it.

COLOR THE PICTURE
There are many opportunities for creativity. Children like to color in the letters, each a different color. The border can be colored, and the letters can be blue or brown.
The figure carrying the cross can be colored as a contemporary person would appear.
The cross can be brown, gray, or red.

I hope you create a masterpiece!

Thank you, and God Bless.

Matthew 6:28-29 says,

"And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these." Matthew 6:28-29.

ABOUT MY ART

This was a hard picture for me to create. I did a lot of research on the flowers, and I had to draw them many times before they looked like lilies. I had to print the words and trace them onto the picture. It took more time than I was able to keep track of. But now that it is done, I am very happy with how it looks.

There are a lot of ways this picture can be colored.
  • The letters can be colored in different colors.
  • The lilies on the lower right can be a lot of colors.
  • The lilies on the left are normally white or green, but it is your project, so do it any way you want. The frame bars can be red, brown-yellow, or gold to contrast with all the green.
  • I like to do the background with a little shading to look like parchment before I do the letter.

Thank You, and God Bless.
