How Can You Share The Gospel To Your Kids or Grandkids When They Are Far From You?

Do you have young children or grandchildren? Would you like them to come to faith in Jesus? Or are you unable to see the little ones who you were teaching the faith?

You can use BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY to reach out to kids who may be far away or unable to attend religious activities.  Each week you can print the newest issue and send it to them in the mail with a little note. As they enjoy the puzzles and the coloring pictures, they will be exposed to God's word, which will not return void. Not to mention kids love to get mail.

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY my thank gift to those who support my blog through Patreon.  It is designed like a  booklet that you print for the kids. It has 10+ scripture verses in each issue. At first, I was making this an extra craft time activity for the kid's Bible club at church. But it has grown into something more.

It can be used as a supplement to a lesson, as a take-home handout, a quiet time activity, a craft time activity, and many other ways.  When the kids do the activities, they are being exposed to God's Word. The discussion questions can be used for spontaneous conversations and teaching.

How to receive this every week

Support my art for only $3.50 a month, and you will receive an activity booklet each week with pages of Bible verse activities. These will include the bonus pages that are not available in the free version. When you support me through Patreon, you will have immediate access to some recent issues that you can use today.   Cancel anytime.

THE BEST OF GOD'S WORD

Each issue has ten Bible verse activities that are really exciting and powerful. I spent hours choosing the verses for this issue, and some of these scriptures challenge us no matter our age: but remember, God's Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:10-11). Issue 77 has a mix of scriptures that include the Gospel, worship, teaching, and discipleship.

Issue 77 was a lot of work for me. I had to recreate the crossword puzzle at least twice. The cipher puzzle was complex because I created a new pictograph alphabet, which sounded like a good idea, but it was hard to get images that worked in the scale created by the space I had for it. I spent more time on one of the coloring pages than I would normally, and I spent a day on the Bible verse maze puzzle. In the end, it turned out great, and I am very proud of the results. I pray the Lord uses this issue to plant the seed of His Word in hearts.

The image below only shows pages 2 and 3; there are 4 pages in the current issue and an appendix with discussion questions.

"And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul's message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truthActs 17:11.NLT.

This wonderful verse inspires us to imitate the believers in ancient Berea and search the scriptures to ensure that what we are taught is genuinely God's message.  It is a good verse to memorize and to teach from.

Free Isaiah 53:6 Printable Coloring Page, All We like sheep Bible verse

Below is a printable stained glass-style coloring page of Isaiah 53:6.

Isaiah 53:6 is one of those scriptures we often share when we understand that we are lost and far from God. It is a word picture of the sheep, and somehow, that powerfully catches our imagination. We relate the helplessness of the sheep and its wandering. The verse takes us from our need for rescue to the one God has sent to fulfill that need by substituting or standing in for our judgment.

MY ORIGINAL ART

Even though this picture looks simple, I still worked on it all evening, from dinner to bedtime. I used a lightbox and a fine-tipped marker to trace the design several times. I wanted something that looked like a cathedral-stained glass window.

I create these coloring pictures because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

COLOR THE PICTURE

You can have a lot of fun coloring this scripture page. I would recommend using four or five colors for the geometric shape; if you do not use enough variety, then at some point, you will have two shapes with the same color, so use four or more colors or hues of the same color can be fun. You can try to leave the letters white. The frame bars can be a contrasting color that is not part of the background.

Children like to color the pictures with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in.

I hope you make a masterpiece.

Blessings, and Thank you.

Free Amos 5:14 print and Color Page, Seek Good, Not Evil Bible Verse.

Below is a free Amos 5:14 print and color page.

This verse is an excellent scripture of challenge. It is also a promise. We are to seek good, which means striving for and working for good.  It also says not to seek evil, so we must be discerning and know the difference between good and evil.  God is good; if His spirit is in us, we must be characterized by doing good.  The promise is that God will show himself to be among us, but it doesn't say how. Might it be because he will bless or give some miracle or testimony through the Spirit? Or he could keep that part to himself until the time comes.

I spent four days creating this picture. I wanted something that looked like an illuminated text from the past. After working out the concept, I used a lightbox to trace the design repeatedly, making the necessary changes. I am happy with how it turned out, and I hope you are blessed by it.

There are many ways you can color this to make it beautiful.
  • There are a lot of vines and flowers around the border that can be in different shades of green.
  • The flowers can be a lot of different bright colors.
  • The frame bars can be some contrasting colors.
  • You can use multiple colors for the background since the frame bars separate the border from the main area.

Free Bible Romans 8:15 Verse Word Search Activity for Kids.

This is a free Bible verse word search using Romans  8:15 for the text.

It is a free sample from BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY  Issue 76, a kid's activity bulletin for children's church, camps, clubs, and homeschool.

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is published each week and is available to subscribers. (I'm sorry, I would love to give it out free, but when it takes 25 to 30 hours to create, I just can't afford to only hope for an occasional donation for my labor). Subscription is only $3.50 a month, and you get a 4-page Bi-fold printable with 10 scripture verse activities for the kids every week emailed to you.

This word search is a free sample.

Romans 8:15 says.

"For the Spirit that God has given you does not make you slaves and cause you to be afraid; instead, the Spirit makes you God's children, and by the Spirit's power we cry out to God, "Father! my Father!"" Romans 8:15.GNT

You might ask why I choose the Romans 8:15 verse for one of the ten in this children's activity bulletin. I do not apologize for giving the hard sayings of the Bible, because when we only teach the easy, fun verses about love and fulfillment that are easy and require nothing of us, then our youth grow up with a view of Christ, the church, and faith as something shallow, easy, and requires nothing of them. But being a generation of activism, they are looking for something to live for, and a shallow faith does not resound to them, so they pursue other causes to live for.

However, like all others, this issue contains many of the "favorites" that we all cherish.

Do you need a Children's Bible Activity Bulletin for Your Program?

Here is a summary of this week's BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY, a printable activity booklet. I make this every week for kids in church, Bible club, camps, and wherever God's Word is loved. It is sent to those who support my blog with a small monthly donation.

Is it suitable for your program?

This children's activity bulletin is a wonderful tool to advance God's Message to young hearts.  It is versatile and can be used in multiple ways.
  • Some Awana clubs give them out as a take-home; others use them as an extra free time activity or to supplement the craft time.
  • Some churches put them at the back of the sanctuary with some colored pencils for the kids to have quiet activity while waiting for the service to end.
  • Some teachers keep issues in classrooms as a resource for the class.
  • One friend told me she uses the activities as a lesson for a particular need's child. It is a one-on-one situation where they spend the time doing the activities together and discussing the verse, "As the Lord leads."
  • Distribute this at Upwards sport nights each week
  • This bulletin can be mailed to absent attendees to let them know they were missed.
  • It can be part of a follow-up program by mail or email after an outreach event to children.
  • And there are many more ways to list here.

I send out BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY every Thursday evening. It is a four-page bi-fold bulletin with ten activities for kids.  If you would like to receive it every week, click on the Patreon button below. Free 2 Peter 1:3 Printable Bible Verse Coloring Page, God has Given Us Everything

Below is a free 2 Peter 1:3 print and color page.

This verse is a great promise that our lives of discipleship need not be lives of failure but lives of abundance because God has provided all we need. Sometimes we feel that we have to do it or we are missing some formula that is supposed to give us blessings. But we do not need to do anything because it is given and if it is all given our lives become a matter of receiving.

2 Peter 1:3 Says

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 2 Peter 1:3.

Free Matthew 6:19-20 Word Search puzzle, Treasure in Heaven Bible Verse

Here is a free Bible verse word search puzzle for Matthew 6:19-20.

The word search puzzle below is a free sample from issue 75 of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY, an activity bulletin for kids. It is my thank you gift available every week to those who support my blog through Patreon. It has 10 Bible verse activities for kids grades k-5. This Matthew 6:19-20 word search appears in the right section of page 1. The left section is available only to subscribers.  It is designed to be printed two-sided and bi-folded like a bulletin or program.

WHY A CHILDREN'S ACTIVITY BULLETIN

When the grown-ups are greeted at church do they get a bulletin but the kids don’t? What is that saying to the kids? BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is a perfect children's bulletin for your meetings.  Mom and Dad get an important bulletin and so do they.  Then while the kids are waiting for the program or church service to begin they can quietly do the activities.

Matthew 6:19-20 says,
Don’t collect for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But collect for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don’t break in and steal. Matthew 6:19-20 HCSB ©.

I started to make Bible verse activity handouts when I was teaching a children's Bible club called Awanas. I used them to fill free time and as an alternate craft time activity. They became popular so I started to put them online on this blog. I am deeply grateful that they are used all over the world, and have been a blessing to many people.

HOW TO RECEIVE
If you have never received the BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY activity bulletin then click on the SUBSCRIBE tab to learn more. It is only $3.50 a month. (I'm sorry that I can't do it for free but each issue takes between 20 and 30 hours or more to design and create each week and that is just too much work for an occasional donation.)

Support my blog through Patreon and receive Bible Time Fun Weekly every week and have immediate access to the last five issues.

If you have problems getting the image below to print see the HOW TO PRINT TAB for some suggestions.

Are There Kid's Bible Verse Take Home Pages for Awanas, Good News Club, or Back Yard Bible Club?

Your class, church, or club is over, and the kids are leaving. What can you do to extend your positive influence beyond the class? Is there something you can send home with them that will continue the work of God's Word in their hearts?

I create BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY to thank those who support my Bible verse art blog. It is the perfect after-class take-home handout that connects others to your club, church, or class.  It extends your influence into their homes. Every week you can give your members something exciting and new to do at home that will continue the ministry of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

I used to teach Sunday school and also VBS and Awanas Bible Club. I began to make coloring pages to give to the children for craft time and as a take-it-home handout. I began to make a mini activity booklet and mailed them to the kids after summer vacation bible school. It was too much work then, but now I have a computer and more skills and some tools to make these easier to create. So for the last few years, I've made BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY as a resource for discipleship and outreach.

Subscription is $3.50 a month, and you will receive an activity magazine each week with 10+ Bible verse activities. Subscribe through Patreon, and you will have immediate access to an archive of issues that you can use today.   Cancel anytime.

I spend hours on art and formatting each issue, but the Word is the vital part. Each issue has ten Bible verse activities that are exciting and powerful. I spend hours choosing the verses, and some of these scriptures challenge us no matter our age: but remember, God's Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:10-11). Issue 74 has a mix of scriptures that include the Gospel, worship, teaching, and discipleship.

Free Psalm 91:1Print and Color Page, The Shadow of the Almighty, Bible verse

I am glad to share my free print and color page for Psalm 91:1.

This is an awesome verse that has deep meaning and beautiful poetry. Since it is so poetic, you can have many applications to this verse. When you think about dwelling, it gives you a sense of closeness and permanence.  It suggests that you are intentional about dwelling there. To rest is so significant in today's chaotic world. If you are in someone's shadow, it gives you the picture of being close behind someone as they are protecting you.

A LITTLE ABOUT PRINTING THE PICTURE

Few people have trouble printing the picture, but if you do, CLICK HERE to visit my HOW-TO-PRINT page for suggestions.

MY ART

NOTE: My art is drawn by hand and not generated by a Bot or AI. Thank you for supporting human beings who make art.

I really agonized over how to make a coloring page for this verse. It needed to be outstanding and fit the words' beauty. I looked at a lot of my other drawings and art for ideas, and finally settled on a sunrise over the mountains scene. I had to draw it a few times and then trace it onto the page with the words. After I scanned it into the computer, I cleaned it up and made a few more changes. It took all evening, but I am thrilled with how it turned out. I hope you like it and that it inspires you.

COLOR THE PICTURE

This is a theatrical picture, and when it is colored, it can have a real impact. The letters are open and can be colored in, and the frame bars can be colored in with a contrasting color for interest. The scene can be very bright with sunrise colors and landscape colors.

Kids like to color this picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Staples, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.)

Blessings, and thank you.

A WORD ABOUT PRINTING

If you have trouble printing the image below or are printing on A-4-sized paper, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print page. I have some helpful tips for you there. There is a link below that may print better if you have problems.

ABOUT MY ART

👉NOTE: THIS ART WAS DRAWN BY HAND BY A HUMAN BEING. IT WAS NOT "GENERATED" BY A BOT OR AI! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

I spent a long time designing this coloring page. I wanted to put something in the corners and thought that hearts would be good since the verse was about love. I put a scene in the lower corner with a cross in it because we see the love of God demonstrated on the cross. There are a lot of flowers and fun things to color around the border.

You can have a lot of fun coloring this picture.
  • The letters are opened enough to color in with fine-tipped markers or pencils.
  • Of course, the hearts can be red, pink, or some other color.
  • The many different flowers give a lot of room to be creative with varying patterns of color.
  • A ribbon intertwined in the flowers is almost hidden, but it gives an area for contrasting colors.
  • The frame bars can be another place for contrasting colors.
  • The background can be colored, too.

OVER 25 HOURS!

It took over 25 hours to design and create this issue. It has a lot of fun activities for kids of all ages. I am thrilled with the coloring pictures since they turned out well. I had a lot of struggles with the crossword and the word search. There is a lot more to designing things like this than you would think.

After I design and create one of these Activity Bulletins, I set it aside for a week or so and then come back and do all the puzzles after I've forgotten all the clues and things. The real test is if I have fun doing them or keep finding fault. This time I actually had a lot of fun.

WOULD YOUR KIDS LIKE PRINTABLES EACH WEEK?

Free John 3:30 Print and Color Page, He Must Increase...". Bible verse.

Here is a free print and color page for John 3:30

This is one of the most powerful statements in scripture and one of those that makes you wonder what would happen if everybody had this attitude.   It is foundational to the idea that God is first in our lives and others are second, and I am third.

ABOUT MY ART

I wanted to keep it simple because the verse is so powerful, but the artwork took about six hours more to create and get right than I had thought it would. I wanted to put pictures around the border representing Christ in his service, so I put the cross, the lamb, and the crown of thorns. The fourth corner features the Lion, since scripture references Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. (Revelation 5:5). I first used letters like italics, but after a while, I thought the Old English Style was a better choice for this picture. It looks more like an illuminated text from some ancient manuscript.

COLOR THE PICTURE
This picture can be beautiful when colored in.
  • The flowers and leaves offer plenty of places for a splash of color.
  • The corner pictures can be opportunities for creativity.
  • The letters are open and can be colored with pencils or fine-tipped markers.
  • The frame bars can be a bright color that sets off everything else.
  • The background can be something light.

I hope you enjoy coloring it.

Blessings, And Thank You.

OVER 30 HOURS!
It took over 30 hours to design and create this issue. Despite the many frustrations of putting something like this together, I feel delighted with how it turned out! I am afraid I may have gone a little over the top with the cryptogram, which might be too challenging for some.

I did not intend to structure this issue with so many gospel verses, but it worked out that way. I am sure God has a reason for it.

Free Hebrews 13:8 Print and Color Page, "Jesus is the same..." Bible Verse

Here is a free print and color page for Hebrews 13:8

This is an awesome scripture that tells us we have an unchanging Savior. He will not change at any time, so the loving Christ who died for us will always be loving. His unchanging nature means the salvation he made by his sacrifice will not change either. His death was enough then, and it will always be enough. It is a great verse to memorize.

ABOUT PRINTING THE IMAGE

If you have trouble printing the image below or are printing on A-4 sized paper, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print page. I have some helpful tips for you there. There is a link below that may print better if you have problems.

ABOUT MY ART

I started drawing this on Friday and worked on it for a few hours, and then I worked on it most of the day on Saturday.  Whenever I get so bold as to try to draw people, I feel very stressed. There are so many things to consider, like the correct pose, the anatomy of the human form, and how to convey a statement that is in harmony with the scripture. The two figures turned out very well and express someone who is experiencing trouble. The angelic figures at the bottom were another challenge I wanted to show them celebrating, so I tried to pose them with their hands raised and facial expressions like someone singing. I am very happy with how it all turned out. I hope you like it.

This picture has a lot of opportunities to be creative and it can turn out very beautiful when you are done. There are two figures at the top corners that can be any color. The Picture has vines and flowers that can be very colorful. The angles do not have to be in white, so try gold, blue, or something else for the robes or for the skin tones. The frame bars can be something colorful and the background can be a pale hue.

I hope you have a lot of fun with it and that it turns out nicely.

Blessings, and thank you.
