Free Proverbs 18:10 Bible verse maze activity for a church bulletin.

It takes me hours to make a puzzle like this, but I do it because I love God's Word and believe in its power to change lives. I hope they are a blessing to you.

As kids do the puzzle they are exposed to God's Word. There is a question at the bottom of the page to help parents and teachers to talk about the spiritual truth of the verse.

After you download the file you can use your computer to cut and paste it into a bulletin or add other content to the right side as you need.

Free Genesis 1:1 Print and Color Page, In the Beginning God Created, Bible verse.

Here is a free print and color page for Genesis 1:1.

This verse we all learn as children and spend the rest of our lives understanding how profound it is.  It seems simple on the surface, and as you meditate on the teaching of this scripture, it goes deeper than we think.

This is one of those verses taught in Sunday school, Awanas Bible clubs, Good News Clubs, and our homes.

MY ART

I drew this picture for a church activity bulletin that I make every week; it took about three hours to draw because I do a lot of tracing and scanning parts into the computer and a lot of cut and paste. It turned out so well I felt compelled to share it with everyone.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of fun ways that this picture can be colored.
The letters are big enough for kids to color them in.
The rainbow can be all kinds of colors.
The sun's rays can be many bright yellows and oranges.
If you want more fun, glue cotton on for the clouds and use foil star stickers from the stationery store for the stars.

Do You Need Bible Activities That You Can Hand Out To The Kids?

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is a printable bulletin with 10 activities for kids.

The bulletin format is ideal for church, club, class, or other discipleship ministries including homeschooling and family devotions. Simply double-side print the PDF then fold it in half and center staple the pages or hand them out individually.

I started to make coloring pages to give the kids in my Awana Bible Club and over the years it developed into the activity bulletin.  I spend hours creating crossword puzzles, word searches, mazes, and word puzzles for each issue, but the most important part is that I spend hours choosing scriptures for each activity so the children will become exposed to truths that they do not normally get from the popular publications.

If you want to learn more please see the subscribe button above.

Subscribe through the Patreon button and you will have immediate access to the archives of recent issues that you can print and share with the kids in your club, class, church, camp, or anywhere God's Word is loved.

Only $3:50 a month and you have a bulletin every week. You can cancel anytime.

Here is a sample of issue 83.  It shows only page 1-Aand b and page 4 Aand B.

  • The word search comes from Philippians 3:7-8.
  • The crossword uses Psalm 84:10-11.
  • The explorer’s challenge (mini Bible study) uses Hebrews 12:2.
  • The cipher puzzle uses Isaiah 53:6.
Part 2, for younger students, pages 3 – 4
  • The large-letter word search uses Acts 2:38.
  • The 2nd coloring page is from Matthew 6:33.
  • The maze uses words from Proverbs 16:3.
  • The scrambled letter puzzle uses Psalm 119:105.
  • The dot to dot tracer uses Romans 6:23.
Part 3, Page 5a&b, for parents and teachers, a discussion question for each activity.

It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages but I draw them because I love God's Word and I hope they are a blessing to you.

In your prayers for this ministry join with me in claiming its theme verse of Isaiah 55:10-11 and the promise that God’s Word will not return void.

Free Printable Christmas Wreath Coloring Page With Bible Verse Luke 2:14

I am happy to share this free print and color page for a Christmas wreath and a Bible verse.

Luke 2:14 is a favorite Christmas verse from the shepherds' account when the angel told them about the birth of Christ. It has been used to give hope to many for generations. You often see it on Christmas cards. Here is a link to one of my favorite art prints of these words with calligraphy. It is like a Christmas tree. CLICK HERE to see the art.

Luke 2:14 says,

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men." Luke 2:14.

This picture is one I drew for another project: drawing a picture of a wreath. When I was done, it looked like a good coloring picture. So here it is for you.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are lots of ways you can color this picture. When you do the leaves, try to use several different values or hues of green. The berries can be a beautiful accent. I thought the bow should be red, but of course, that is up to you. Try to use lavender for the shadows. The letters are opened and done as an outline so you can fill them in with color.

I hope you make a beautiful picture.

MY ART

👉NOTE: THIS ART WAS DRAWN BY HAND BY A HUMAN BEING. IT WAS NOT "GENERATED" BY A BOT OR AI! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

I worked on this Christmas coloring picture for two evenings. I had to trace the kings many times before being happy with them. People are difficult for me to draw because I want to tell the story of the verse through their expressions and poses. I still want to have some areas that you can color in. I wanted to have something different from my other coloring pages. I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many ways that you can make this into a beautiful picture.
  • It would be best if you used fine-tipped markers or pencils.
  •  Palm tree fronds can grow up the side borders and be green.
  • The desert scene at the bottom can be a brown or sandy tan color.
  • The figures can be fun with splashes of color.
  • The background of the script can be a dark blue, but not too dark. Consider leaving the letters white or yellow if you make it dark blue.
  • If you are using this with kids, think about using sticker stars in the sky.
  • The frame bars can be a contrasting color from the rest and become a lovely accent.

Free Bible Verse Crossword Puzzle for Psalm 84:10-11

A Bible verse crossword puzzle that you can use in a bulletin.

Every week I design Bible activities for my friends and contributors. I put them together into something I call BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY.  It is like an activity bulletin for children's church and can be used as a handout for any Bible class, camp, VBS, or club.  I create it as a thank you to my supporters who give $3.50 a month through Patreon. If you want to receive bible printables every week sign up through the Patreon button at the bottom of this post.

WHAT IT IS
The printable page below is a bifold-page of issue 83. The entire bulletin and all 10 activities is four pages that you print on both sides. It has coloring pictures, puzzles, a Bible verse maze, a dot-to-dot tracer, and more. Discussion questions are included as a separate 5th page.

THE SCRIPTURE
I always find some of the lesser-known gems from scripture so that kids can get exposed to things that the publishers skip over in favor of the popular Bible topics. This verse is an exclamation of worship and adoration and devotion. It challenges us to consider what serving God is. There are many humble tasks done in the name of the lord, like being a doorkeeper, that become joyful and wonderful to us when we do them as worship.

Psalm 84:10-11 says,

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Psalm 84:10-11.

It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I create them because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you

A LITTLE ABOUT MY ART
I worked insanely hard on this picture. My method is to trace something repeatedly until I have it the way I want. I had to trace the figures of each Wise man about 8 times, maybe more. The whole picture took about five hours to create. But for all that, I am delighted with how it turned out, and I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE
There are many ways you can color this picture beautifully.
  • Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils.
  • The sky can be dark, and you can just leave the letters to the words as white.
  • The three kings can be a point for a lot of colors.
  • There is a little landscape to color.
  • It can be a dark night scene, but don't use black; use purple, violet, and lavender to give it a nighttime look.
  • Use dark blue for the sky.
  • The frame bars can be a contrasting color.
  • If you are creative, try using sticker stars on the different stars in the picture.

I hope you color a masterpiece.

Blessings, And Thank You.

A WORD ABOUT MY ART

I wanted this coloring page to look like a church window. I thought it would be easy to draw straight lines, but it was more of a challenge than I thought it would be because I wanted to avoid patterns and look like I was lazy and just repeat the same design repeatedly. I had to do the areas around the stars over a few times because they were getting absorbed in the shapes around them, but after a while, they began to pop out the way I wanted. I put a surprising amount of work into this one, and I really hope you like it.

You can have a lot of fun coloring this page.
It is best if you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils.
You can use many colors for the different shapes or select a few and keep it simple.
You might try to leave the letters blank, like negative space, or use a contrasting color.

I hope you create a masterpiece!

Blessings, and Thank You.

The intention is for this to give children exposure to God's Word in a fun way.

This originally appeared as page 4a of an activity bulletin.

I spent a day creating this for the bulletin it may not be perfect but I am happy with it.

Is There a Fun Outreach And Discipleship Resource For Your Children?

Here is a way to offer a fun experience and support Christian discipleship in your home and church.

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is my thank-you gift to those who support my art through Patreon. It is a resource that creates opportunities for spontaneous spirit-guided conversations that can potentially change lives.

The ten scripture activities are accompanied by discussion questions that parents and teachers can use to engage kids more deeply.

CLICK HERE to subscribe to my coloring pages; you will receive a new one every week. Or, to make a one-time donation without subscribing, use the PayPal button below the image.

Issue 81 is now available, and you can see a sample below.

Sample pages 1,2 of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY issue 81

WHY DO I DO THIS?
I started creating Bible verse coloring pages for a Bible club at my church called AWANAS. Then, I made a Bible fun magazine that I printed on four pages and sent to the kids who came to our church's summer Vacation Bible school. I made the magazine for a few months, and it was a huge amount of work to design it, draw it, print it, and mail it. I could not keep up with it.

Now, I have improved my skills and use a computer for some of what I do. I have created some templates to make things easier, but it still takes 25 to 30 hours each week to create BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY. When you see it, you will agree that it represents a lot of thought and work.

LIKE A MINI KID'S MAGAZINE
This is a weekly booklet that subscribers receive for use at home, church, club, outreach camp, or anywhere God's work is being done. It has four printed and reproduced pages back to back and then folded like a program. There are ten fun activities that children actually look forward to doing. The activities include a crossword puzzle, one or more word searches, a maze puzzle, a scrambler puzzle, and more.

SCRIPTURE FOCUSED
Each activity is scripture-focused in a profound way. The verse is the source of the answers or word bank for the puzzle. Children are exposed to God's Word as children do the puzzles or activities.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
The discussion questions tie into the activity and become the beginnings of heart-to-heart conversations that lead to discipleship. They say more is caught than is taught, and as you talk about the scripture, it is a natural teaching event.

I love God's Word, and I believe His Spirit uses It in the lives of children. God gives us gifts so we can be gifts to others, and I want to use my gift of creativity for His glory. I've taught Sunday school, children's church, VBS, and AWANAS, so I know there is no greater joy than seeing children give their lives to Jesus. BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is part of sowing the seed in children's hearts.

Here are some of the scriptures in issue 81.

Part 1, for the older students, pages 1-2
  • The coloring picture is inspired by Philippians 2:4a.
  • The word search comes from Luke 9:57-58.
  • The crossword uses Joshua 24:14-15.
  • The explorer's challenge (mini Bible study) uses Proverbs 3:11-12.
  • The cipher puzzle uses 1 Corinthians 2:2.
Part 2, for younger students, pages 3 - 4
  • The large-letter word search uses Colossians 3:1-2.
  • The 2nd coloring page is from John 16:33b.
  • The maze uses words from John 10:9a.
  • The scrambled letter puzzle uses 2 Corinthians 5:17.
  • The dot to dot tracer uses Psalm 100:1.
Part 3, Page 5a&b, for parents and teachers, a discussion question for each activity.

Some of these scriptures are all-time favorites, but you'll notice several are the more difficult, "hard sayings of Jesus." Many programs avoid challenging teachings for whatever reason. If it was so important that Jesus had to say it, we should be careful to thoughtfully present these teachings too.

Free Printable Bible Verse Word-Search With Luke 9:57-58 Scripture

Below is a free printable Bible word-search using Luke 9:57-58 as the Word bank.

This word-search is a free half-page sample from BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY  issue 81, a printable children's Bible activity magazine for discipleship and outreach that I create as a gift for those who support my Bibler art blog through Patreon.  There are 10 activities in issue 81. The right portion is only available to subscribers, but you can use the space with cut and paste to add your own elements or combine it with other activity printables.

If you worry that your kids are not getting enough of God's Word or only getting watered-down Bible stories, then you will find BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is an excellent resource for your church, class, or family.

Besides the favorite children's Bible verses like John 3:16, each issue has some challenging scriptures that many teachers avoid because they are, well frankly, hard. But it is a mistake to cut them out of the Bible hour. These are the words of Christ, and we do no favors to anyone if we neglect to teach them.

This verse teaches the cost of following Jesus; it says you cannot follow Jesus and expect to have comfort and worldly wealth.

Luke 9:57-58

This word search has one of the HARD SAYINGS OF JESUS. Luke 9:57-58, "As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go." Jesus replied, "Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." Luke 9:57-58.

Free Print and Color Christmas Card with a Picture of a Wreath

Here is a Christmas card that you can print and color it any way you want.

Why pay five dollars for a card or twenty-five dollars for a box of twelve cards when you can print your own card and color it yourself for a unique personal touch?

This will fit in an invitation envelope that you can buy at any stationery or office supply store.

This is a great activity for kids who need a way to celebrate the holiday season.

Write your own special message inside.

The wreath represents the crown of thorns that Christ wore when he was crucified for our sins and became the atonement for mankind. It reminds us that the baby in the manger that we celebrate was sent by the Father for the purpose of being the redeemer of mankind. Jesus said about himself, "Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28

Print it on card stock for the heavy feel of a store-bought card. If you don't have cardstock make one print and then take the print to the office supply store and they can make copies for you on cardstock. The heavier the better if you are going to use watercolor, markers or poster paint.

The file below makes two cards, cut them in half after printing.

I spent all evening drawing this and tracing it over and over then after a few hours I scanned it into the computer and cleaned up the image. It was a challenge to get the two images to be in the correct location so they will print out correctly but it worked out in the end. I hope you are happy with it.

HOW TO PRINT

Make sure your settings is for "border-to-border" or "fit to page," otherwise it may not center or be reduced in size. If you have problems making the image below print, then visit the HOW TO PRINT tab for some suggestions for printing. There is a PDF file below the image that you can try too.

Free Print And Color Christmas Card with a Wreath

It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages but I draw them in the hope that they will be a blessing to others because I have been blessed and believe God is honored when we give to others out of our blessings.

Thank You!

There are a lot of fun ways to color this picture to make it beautiful. The berries and leaves would be red but not necessarily. The leaves around the berries are a different shape so they can be a different color. The background can be a pale peach or tan to contrast with the green of the wreath. The little edge frame can be any color.

I hope it gives you joy and those who receive it find joy in it too.

Blessings, and thank you

ABOUT THE ART

👉NOTE: THIS ART WAS DRAWN BY HAND BY A HUMAN BEING. IT WAS NOT "GENERATED" BY A BOT OR AI! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

I spent all day creating this coloring page. I borrowed some elements from other coloring pages. I wanted a simple coloring page that focused on God's Word rather than an artist's ability, so I kept the design simple. I am happy with how it turned out, and I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE
If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, this picture can be lovely when finished, and it is an excellent reminder of a beautiful scripture.
  • The letters in the verses are open enough to color in.
  • There are vines around the border and flowers that can be colored.
  • The frame bars can be a different and contrasting color from everything else.
  • The background can make the picture look like an ancient manuscript.
I hope you create a masterpiece.

Free Print and Color Page for Isaiah 9:6 For To Us a Child is Born Bible Verse.

Below is a free printable with Isaiah 9:6, a popular verse for Christmas.

This verse can be used for the Christmas holiday season of Advent. This coloring page can be a project for the kids in church or Bible club. If you memorize scripture, coloring the words to the verse will help you learn it. The printable can be part of a daily devotion for Advent.

This scripture is full of promise for the messiah foretold by the prophet Isaiah. It gives several titles for Christ. There has been so much written about this verse. It is one that we all should know and memorize.

Isaiah 9:6 says,

For us, a child is born, a son is given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Isaiah 9:6.

MY ART

I spent two days drawing the art for this verse. It started out as a sketch and then scanned into the computer, and I made many changes and edits on the computer. I wanted many flowers around the border, but it turned out that I drew too many, so I had to cut and paste them out. Then I added a ribbon because it looked like something more was needed. Sometimes art is more about editing than creating. I am happy with how it turned out, and I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of fun things you can do to color this picture and make it beautiful.
  • I put a lot of flowers around the border to allow brighter colors.
  • The frame bar can be a muted color to contrast with the flowers.
  • The ribbon can be something different, like blue or red.
  • The letters can be colored in, too.
  • The background would look nice in a pale hue.

Children like to color the picture with crayons, but if you try fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you will be able to get into the smaller areas. Prismacolor pencils can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. (I always look for coupons online.) The letters are big enough to color in.

I hope you create a masterpiece!

Blessings, And Thank You.

Is there a way to have church at home with the kids?

If you want to have some fun Bible teaching time with the kids at home then consider the BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY a children's scripture activity bulletin.

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY

These printable has10 activities on 4 bifold pages. It looks like a bulletin or program. The activities include crossword puzzles, word search, maze, pictures to color, dot to dot, and more.  But these are not just activities with the same old picture of Noah or Adam and Eve or Jesus holding a lamb; these activities are focused on Bible verses, so the kids are interacting and engaging with God's Word. Each scripture has a discussion prompt question.

ISSUE 80

I spent about 22 hours on this issue. I am especially pleased with the 2 Bible verse coloring pictures.  Usually, the crossword takes 5 hours to complete but for some reason, this one just came together for me. I often spend two hours selecting the scriptures and choosing the clearest translations but this time it took longer maybe four hours. There was a lot of time spent on layout and formatting the appearance of all the little different pieces of this issue.

CLICK HERE to subscribe through Patreon for only $3.50 a month and have immediate access to the archives of the recent issues.

Here is an idea of how issue 80 turned out, these are only two of the four bi-fold pages.

Sample of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY issue 80, pages 1 and 4

The scriptures in issue 80 are:
The coloring picture is inspired by Revelation 1:8.
The word search comes from John 10:9-10.
The crossword uses Colossians 3:15-17.
The explorer’s challenge (mini Bible study) uses Psalm 18:2.
The cipher puzzle uses Proverbs 3:1-2.
The large-letter word search uses 1 John 4:9-10.
The 2nd coloring page is from 1 Corinthians 15:3.
The maze uses words from Philippians 4:13.
The scrambled letter puzzle uses Romans 5:8.
The dot to dot tracer uses Psalm 46:10.
Part 3, Page 5a&b, for parents and teachers, a discussion question for each activity.

Although it takes me hours, I draw these activity pages because I love God's Word and I know He is using them to change hearts. I hope they are a blessing to you.

Free Colossians 3:15-17 Crossword Bible Verse Activity

Below is the free Colossians 3:15-17 Bible verse crossword puzzle.

It is one of the ten activities from issue 80 of  BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY children's activity book.

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is an activity booklet for families, clubs, churches, and Bible teaching and outreach venues. It is 4 page, double-sided and bi-folded printable that you can download, print, and distribute to your kids.  It has 10 scriptural activities. Issue 80 is made up of the following.

WHY I MAKE THESE

It takes me over 20 and sometimes over 30 hours every week to create these Bible activity bulletins. I started at first as a mailer to give follow-up after a Kids Summer Bible Camp, and mailed them to the kids who came to camp. Then when I was teaching a Bible club called AWANAS I made something like these to give to the kids after the club was over each week, they would take home and have Bible time on their own at home.  I believe that the Bible teaches God's Word will not return empty but God's word will accomplish His purpose, so we must help people hear and experience His Word. I believe that when kids do the activities they come face to face with God's Word.
