THE VERSE

This is one of those verses we all want to memorize and want our kids to learn. One of those classic scriptures calls us to trust God and seek His guidance, and it is a promise that he will give guidance.  

Proverbs 3:5-6 says. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6.

MY ART

I am glad to share my coloring pages for free, so print as many as you need. If you are able, you can consider making a small contribution to support my art, and then I will be able to continue to serve you. 

This picture evolved out of a coloring page I did for a church bulletin that I created. The background image of the road through the country took several tries before I got it right, and I had to trace it a few times before it looked good.  I had to scan it into the computer, and then I made a few more adjustments using the Paint program.  It was a couple of days' worth of work, but I am very pleased with how it looked. 

A FEW IDEAS ABOUT COLORING

This picture can be beautiful when you take your time with it. 
  • Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, and then you can get into the finer areas.  
  • The letters can be colored in, so get creative and pick a beautiful color for the words. The shrubs can be more than one color of green. As they are further back, they should be paler. 
  • The road can be sandy, red, or brown. 
  • Consider using purple, lavender, and violet for the distant hills. 
  • The sun's rays can be yellow or orange.  
  • You can color the sky blue and leave the clouds white, but add a hint of pale color to the clouds, such as rose, lavender, or yellow, like the dawn.

I am delighted to share my Philippians 1:6 print and color page in the Spanish language using the Reina-Valera 1995 version. I do not speak Spanish but love to listen to it since it is such a beautiful language. I hope that you may be able to use this coloring picture in your class or church. 

Coloring the letters helps you to remember the verse. When it is done, the page is a reminder of God's Word. It is a great kid's craft or coloring page for adults to enjoy too. 

THE VERSE

This verse assures us that God is working in our lives and that we can e encouraged because He will not fail to finish what He has started. So we can rest in him. This free Bible verse coloring page is not just for kids.

ABOUT MY ART 

This picture took most of the day to create for you. I hope you like it. I had to trace parts of it over several times and then as a whole. I had to use the computer to create the straight lines after I scanned it in. it was so much work that I used the background border in other coloring pictures.

COLOR THE PICTURE 

There are a lot of fun things you can do to color this picture in. I recommend colored pencils or fine-tipped markers. The flowres can be many colors. The vines can be different greens. You can color the letters to the words since they are open. The frame can be a contrasting hue. Remember to color the background.

MY ART

I worked on this picture for a long time. I reused some parts of another coloring page and made some changes to keep it fresh. Even though I was upgrading the art, it still took a long time to mix the new with the old art.  I couldn't do the letters, so I used the computer to create them and scan them into the picture.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are lots of ways you can make this into a beautiful picture.  If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you can get into the tight areas and the letters. The border has lots of hearts and leaves and flowers to color. Try to use more than one color for the hearts, make some red, some pink, and make some scarlet. Use different green colors for the leaves and make some light green and other dark green. There is a cross scene at the bottom to color in. The letters can be colored. The background can be a light hue for contrast with the bright colors.  The frame bars can be a contrasting color.

There are a lot of ways you can make this into a beautiful picture. Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils so you can get into the tight areas. The rays of light can be left blank or make them gold or even pale blue. The border offers many opportunities with the flowers and the frame bars around it to add color. The scene in the background behind the letters can be muted if you plan to use bright colors in the letters, or it can be bright if you intend to leave the letters white. 
I hope you create a masterpiece.

Although I use templates and shortcuts, creating these still consumes a tremendous amount of time. But I am glad to do it, knowing that it can be helpful to so many.

I did not try to develop a theme. I draw inspiration from the chapters I read daily, listen to conversations, and seek God's Spirit. Then there is the question of what will fit in the puzzle or space on the page. 

Looking at the list below, there appear to be verses of comfort, strength, and God's sustaining grace.

It has many classic all-time favorite Bible verses.

  • It has John 3:16 in a word search.
  • A coloring picture of Philippians 4:1, "I can do all things," Scripture.
  • The explorer's challenge (Mini Bible study) is Luke 9:48.
  • The drop word puzzle is Isaiah 26:3, "You keep him in perfect peace…."
  • Another coloring picture is Isaiah 59:1, "The Lord is not too weak to save," Bible verse.
  • Another word search is Isaiah 40:31, the, "They will soar on wings like eagles…." Bible verse. 
  • A crossword with Jeremiah 29:11, "I know the plans I have for you..." Bible verse.
  • Memory verse craft for Luke 1:37, "With God nothing shall be impossible," Scripture
  • Maze for Isaiah 45:5, "I am the Lord," Bible verse.
  • A scrambler puzzle for 1 John 5:13. "I have written these things to you ...." Bible verse.

I am excited to create a free printable coloring picture of Matthew 22:37-39 for you in the Mandarin language. I only know a few words in mandarin, so I used many online tools to make this coloring page for you.  

THE VERSE

This is a popular scripture. That teaches us that the greatest commandment is to love God and the second is to love our neighbor.

THE ART

I repurposed the border art for this picture from before, but I still did a lot of adjusting and changing things to make it work.

Here is a print and color page for a favorite verse from Galatians. It is a scripture that teaches us that God's Spirit will have an effect on our lives. It teaches that the Holy Spirit will make changes in our hearts and gives us a better character.  When we have God's spirit we become better people who have noble character qualities. 

It helps you to memorize the scripture when you color in the words to the verse.

Galatians 5:22-23a says,
"Pero el fruto del Espíritu es amor, gozo, paz, paciencia, benignidad, bondad, fe, mansedumbre, templanza; contra tales cosas no hay ley." Gálatas 5:22-23. 

ABOUT MY ART

I worked on this picture for so long!  I had to trace it over many times to get the border and the fruit right. I couldn't do the letters nice enough and had to use the computer to create them and print them out. Then I traced the art around the words before scanning the picture back into the computer. It was so much work that I am going to do versions of it in different languages.

You can have a lot of fun coloring this picture. There are a lot of creative things you can do to make it beautiful. If you use pencils or fine-tipped markers it can turn out very nice. There are letters that can be colored in and a basket with fruit spilling out at the bottom.  There are grapes and vines and a dove to color. They can all be very bright and you can make the background a light hue for contrast. The frame bars can be another color that sets everything apart.

Free Luke 9:57-58 Print and Color Page, Foxes have Holes... Bible Verse.

I am happy to create a free printable coloring picture of Luke 9:57-58 for you. I have wanted to do a coloring page of this verse for a long time. I thought it would be an excellent picture to color when I did a smaller version for a Children's mini magazine, so it was time to do one and post it here for you.

This is one of those hard sayings of Christ. It challenges us to consider carefully whether we are truly willing to follow Jesus into the hardships of identifying with Him and His kingdom.

I create coloring pages because I love God's Word and believe in the transformative power of the Gospel to change lives. I hope you are blessed by them.

I made this one more like a child's coloring page by keeping it open and avoiding a lot of fiddly details in the border. I am reusing the bird and the fox from a couple of how-to-draw lessons I did a few years ago; it still took a lot of fiddling around and adjusting to get it into the picture. I created the text with the computer using a cut-and-paste technique and merged it into a font I modified for coloring pictures.

THE ART

I spent a long time creating the background artwork, and since it was a lot of work, so I decided to get the most out of it that I can, so I am doing versions of this scripture in different languages. 

I drew the landscape, clouds, and the cross in the clouds several times. After I was happy with the designs, I traced them into a single unit.  I scanned the picture into the computer and then used the paint program to make many changes, and I redid a large part of the cross in the clouds and I did the straight lines and frame with the computer.  

I created the text using a computer with a cut-and-paste technique and merged it into a font I had modified for coloring pictures. 

It was a lot of work and I hope you like it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

Use fine-tipped markers or pencils to color in the words of the verse. Think about using blue, or brown, or violet for the letters because black is boring. The background scene can be brilliant.  Try to add a few light colors to the clouds. I hope you create a masterpiece.

Here is a coloring page with a beloved Bible verse from Psalms in Japanese. I used a Japanese translation and tried to create a coloring page that I hope can be useful. I hope a Japanese church somewhere can use this, and I hope that someone who speaks Japanese will be inspired by this coloring page and be drawn to worship our loving and beautiful creator, our redeemer.

Salmos 42: 1 Página Impresa y a Color En Español, Psalms 42:1 Spanish Print and Color Page

Here is a print and color page of a beautiful scripture in the Spanish language. I do not speak much Spanish so I used a translation that is popular to generate the text. You can color the words to help you memorize the scripture. 

THE VERSE

This is one of those beautiful and poetic scriptures that is so popular. It is a cry of devotion and worship.  "Como el ciervo brama por las corrientes de las aguas,

I use a Chinese translation and tried to honor the wonderful Chinese church and their language by creating a coloring page that I hope can be useful. I feel grateful and glad to be able to create a coloring picture of Romans 6:23 in the Korean language for you. I do not speak Korean, so I used an online translation that I hope is a good one and that you can use this coloring page.

THE VERSE

This is a popular scripture. Many people memorize it and teach it to their kids. It teaches us that our sins have earned the payment of punishment, but it also tells us that God the Father has made forgiveness available through His grace. 
Romans 6:23says, 
죄의 대가는 죽음이지만 하나님께서 거저 주시는 선물은 우리 주 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 영원한 생명입니다  로마서 6:23
  

THE ART

I took a long time to create the background artwork, and it was so much work that I wanted to get the most out of it that I can, so I am doing versions of this scripture in different languages. 

I drew the landscape, clouds, and the cross in the clouds several times. After I was happy with the designs I traced them into a single unit.  I scanned it into the computer, and used the paint program, to make a lot of changes; and I redid a large part of the cross in the clouds and I did the straight lines and frame with the computer.  

I use the computer to create the text with a cut and paste type of technique and merged it into a font I modified for coloring pictures. 

It was a lot of work and I hope you like it.

MY ART

The background image took a considerable amount of time to create. It took a great deal of effort to accomplish, so I wanted to get the most out of it that I could. Therefore, I am creating several versions of it in different languages. 

I sketched the landscape, clouds, and the cross in the clouds several times. After I was happy with the designs, I traced them into a single unit.  I scanned it into the computer, then I used the paint program to make numerous changes. I redid a large part of the cross in the clouds and created the straight lines and frame using the computer.  

I use the computer to create the text. Initially, I wanted to arrange the text in the Western reading order, reading from left to right. I couldn't get it all to fit and still be big enough to have space to color in. So, I decided on a vertical layout with the reading going right to left. 

I hope you like it. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you will get into tight areas like the text. There is a landscape with lots of trees, hills, and mountains that you can color with lots of different colors.  The sky can be a range of blues, from dark at the top to light at the bottom. The rays of light can be yellow, white, or light blue. The cross is a fantasy, so you can make it any color you like.   I hope you create a masterpiece!

THE ART

I draw these because I love God's belief in the Gospel's power, the Gospel to change lives. They take a lot of my time and energy, but I am glad to do it. 
I spent a considerable amount of time designing and sketching the background art. After I assembled the sketches, I traced the best parts onto a single sheet of paper. After I scanned it into the computer, I used the paint program to make lots of changes. The text was created with a computer.

COLOR THE PICTURE.

I tried to give you a lot of things to color. 
  • The letters are opened up, and you can color them with fine-tipped markers or colored pencils. 
  • The background scene can be very colorful, featuring green trees and rolling hills of various shades of green. 
  • The mountain can be grey or other earthly colors. 
  • The high cross could be any color, as it is a fantasy. 
  • There are rays of light coming from the cross; you can color them blue, yellow, or leave them white, and then color the sky around them. 
  • The frame bars can be a contrasting color. 
  • Try to add some rose, violet, or lavender colors to the clouds. 

I hope you create a masterpiece.
